Esta publicación será un poco corta, pero de verdad quería compartirles este momento significativo que tuve la semana pasada✨ Desde los 11/12 años he sido una increíble fan de la banda británica-irlandesa One Direction. Fueron, sin duda alguna, la mejor parte de mi adolescencia🩷 Conocía cada canción, tengo todos los álbumes, tenía cualquier revista que hablara de ellos o que tuviera sus pósteres. La pared de mi habitación estaba llena de esos. Conocí a una de mis mejores amigas gracias a ellos. Y cuando los recuerdo me genera una sonrisa en la cara.
Así que, si aún no lo sabían, hace semanas falleció uno de los integrantes. Liam Payne. A pesar de que la banda lleva una larga temporada separada, el amor sigue siendo el mismo. Por ende, fue una situación que le dolió mucho a miles de personas alrededor del mundo. Pero en este contexto es mejor recordar los buenos tiempos, esos días en que reíamos, disfrutábamos de la vida, para contrarrestar el vacío que dejó su partida.
Por esa razón, un grupo de personas que comparten este amor, organizaron un pequeño evento privado para recordar a Liam, y a la banda. Gracias a los contactos de una buena amiga, me enteré de dicho evento, y pudimos comprar una entrada. Fue algo sencillo. Básicamente, se alquiló una sala de cine y presentaron el documental de la banda: This is us✨ También como el documental de la gira mundial Where We Are Tour🍃 Y, para finalizar, los organizadores crearon un vídeo recopilatorio de los mejores momentos de Liam, tanto en la banda como en su carrera como solista, para poder recordarlo tal como era.
Fueron unas horas maravillosas. Fui con mi hermana y una amiga, pero durante ese momento todos pudimos unirnos en un mismo sentimiento. Lloramos, cantamos, bailamos, y gritamos, pudimos reír como si volviéramos a ser unos adolescentes. Por un momento nos relajamos del estrés de la vida adulta. Vi cada una de esas películas en el cine, en su estreno, y volver a verlas después de años, con tantos cambios en mi vida, me sentí muy bien.
Al final se cumplió lo que Liam quería, hacernos feliz y volver a unirnos a todos❤️

This post will be a bit short, but I really wanted to share with you this significant moment I had last week✨ Since I was 11/12 years old I have been an incredible fan of the British-Irish band One Direction. They were, without a doubt, the best part of my teenage years🩷 I knew every song, I have every album, I had any magazine that talked about them or had their posters. My bedroom wall was full of those. I met one of my best friends because of them. And when I remember them, it brings a smile to my face.
So, if you didn't already know, weeks ago one of the members passed away. Liam Payne. Although the band has been separated for a long time, the love is still the same. Therefore, it was a situation that hurt a lot to thousands of people around the world. But in this context it is better to remember the good times, those days when we laughed, enjoyed life, to counteract the emptiness left by his departure.
For that reason, a group of people who share this love, organized a small private event to remember Liam, and the band. Thanks to the contacts of a good friend, I found out about the event, and we were able to buy a ticket. It was a simple affair. Basically, a cinema room was rented and they presented the band's documentary: This is us✨ Also as the documentary of the Where We Are, World Tour🍃 And, to finish, the organizers created a compilation video of Liam's best moments, both in the band and in his solo career, to be able to remember him as he was.
It was a wonderful few hours. I went with my sister and a friend, but during that time we were all able to unite in the same feeling. We cried, we sang, we danced, we screamed, we laughed as if we were teenagers again. For a moment we relaxed from the stress of adult life. I saw every one of those movies in the theater, at their premiere, and to see them again after years, with so many changes in my life, felt great.
In the end, it fulfilled what Liam wanted, to make us happy and rejoin us❤️
Too bad it was in this context.
