Este sábado 21 de Junio celebramos la despedida de soltera de una de mis mejores amigas de la universidad🩷 Siete años conociéndola, compartiendo clases, cafecitos, crisis existenciales, cumpleaños (literalmente, porque cumplimos el mismo día), y un montón de memorias más. Por eso, cuando su dama de honor organizó esta despedida sorpresa, supe que no podía faltar✨ Todo sucedió en su nuevo apartamento de casada, así que fue doblemente especial, porque ya comenzó a crear bonitos recuerdos en su hogar.
Había dulces, jugos, y un ambiente completamente femenino y millennial: todas en nuestros 20's, hablando de bodas, hijos, outfits, y hasta el precio del queso (porque la adultez nunca descansa). Después de comer, reírnos y debatir si los hombres vienen con manual de uso (spoiler: no), muchas se fueron, pero nos quedamos cinco chicas y la novia para una pijama. Risas, confidencias y ese tipo de momentos que no necesitas planear.
Y verla allí, feliz, rodeada de amor, me llenó el alma🌸 Sé que esta semana será especial para ella: el jueves se casa por civil, y el sábado será la ceremonia religiosa. Y créanme, pienso documentarlo todo porque verla vivir su sueño me llena de completa felicidad. Sé que ama a su pareja, y que él la ama a ella, y juntos hacen una pareja muy tierna🌷
This Saturday, June 21, we celebrated the bachelorette party of one of my best friends from college🩷 Seven years knowing her, sharing classes, coffee breaks, existential crises, birthdays (literally, because we had the same birthday), and a lot of other memories. So when her maid of honor organized this surprise bachelorette party, I knew I couldn't miss✨ It all happened in her new married apartment, so it was doubly special, because she already started creating beautiful memories at her next home.
There were sweets, juices, and a completely feminine and millennial atmosphere: all of us in our 20's, talking about weddings, kids, outfits, and even the price of cheese (because adulthood never rests). After eating, laughing and debating whether men come with a user's manual (spoiler: no), many left, but we stayed (five girls and the bride) for a pajama party. Laughter, confidences and those kinds of moments you don't need to plan.
And seeing her there, happy, surrounded by love, filled my soul🌸 I know that this week will be special for her: on Thursday she gets married by civil ceremony, and on Saturday will be the religious ceremony. And believe me, I plan to document everything because seeing her living her dream fills me with complete happiness. I know she loves her partner, and he loves her, and together they make a very tender couple🌷
