Waking up so early to go to work can be tiring sometimes. That is why a "lie" in bed is necessary. You don't really have to sleep but just relax since you need to go back to work the next day and it's important to regain strength.
Apart from helping in relaxing the body, it relaxes the brain too, you are not tasking yourself anymore, it takes away thinking about work at least for a while and dive into another aspect of your life.
This is my biggest form of selflove,
communicating with myself and examining myself. It gives me time to reflect, the ability to check on myself, the things I have done and the things I will be needing to do.
Some occupation might be less stressful, others so stressful but irrespective of what you do, you still need to create time for yourself, physically,mentally
and emotionally, to avoid a breakdown

I use to be this person who just carry on with daily activities without getting to rest until I became a shadow of myself, causing concerns for family and friends. Funny enough you wouldn't see the signs on time, other people notice the stress in you than your very self. Then I realized if I was not taking care of myself how will I carry on with my daily activities.
I create a relaxing environment for myself and listen to music, this make me unwind after a long day. Taking care of yourself (eating what you love), but make sure it is healthy) will help you be at your best, allow you to relax and enjoy your leisure time.
