Have you been keeping up with my daily blog posts? Unfortunately, this week has been jam-packed with work and personal responsibilities, so I haven't been able to write as consistently. Although I missed a few days, I am dedicated to catching up and providing a recap of my week. Despite the busyness, it has been a highly productive week for me. Let me take you a recap of the past few days that made me so busy.
November 15,2023 Land Transportation Office Times Square Mandaue Branch - Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines
I recently visited the newly opened Land Transportation Office located on the third floor of Mandaue City in City Times Square, right across Park Mall. My purpose was to update some of the information on my driver's license, which required me to follow up on the online portal. Although I have a lot on my plate, updating my driver's licenseโs online portal was my top priority. What for? I will tell you more about it.
November 15,2023 - A Little Tea - Parkmall, Cebu City, Philippines
After completing my errand at the Land Transportation Office, I went to Park Mall to grab a sip of milk tea before riding a jeepney. While I was at the mall, I decided to drop by A Little Tea , a shop that I have been a fan of for a long time. In fact, I have a separate blog dedicated to it. I was delighted to see that they have a branch at Park Mall, although it's smaller than the ones in Cebu IT Park and doesn't have a second floor. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my milk tea there.
As I sipped my milk tea, I noticed two students engrossed in their studies at the cafe. It's interesting to see how times have changed and students now prefer studying at coffee shops and cafes, with the full support of their parents. Back in our time, libraries were the go-to place for studying and reading. Despite the difference in study spaces, I hope these students will make the most of their time and work hard to achieve good grades. After all, their parents are investing a lot in their education, including expensive coffee! Afterward, I went to Ayala Malls Central Bloc to run a few more errands.
01K Modern Jeepney
As mentioned in my previous blog posts, if you're commuting in the Philippines using a jeepney, each jeepney has code for certain designated areas you'll need to go to. The 01K jeepney is the most well-known, and it runs from Park Mall to Emall. This particular jeepney is incredibly convenient and hassle-free now that it's been updated with modern features, including full air conditioning. With a minimum fare of 15 pesos, even if you get stuck in traffic, you'll stay cool and refreshed during your ride.
04L Jeepney
I took the 01K jeepney to SM City Cebu and transferred to another one, the 04L route to go to Ayala and back here in SM City Cebu. This 04L jeepney is not air-conditioned. However, the minimum fare is only 13 pesos. Keep in mind that these jeepneys are quite small, and if you have a lot of shopping bags, it might be inconvenient. It might be better to take a taxi if it's within your budget.
Workplace Cafรฉ - Ayala Malls Central Bloc, Cebu IT Park, Cebu City, Philippines
We then headed to the Workplace Cafe on the ground floor of Ayala Mall Centra Bloc in Cebu IT Park, Cebu City, Philippines to make some copies and scans of some important files.
The cafe is a popular spot for freelancers and virtual assistants, as they offer daily, weekly, and monthly rental options that include Wi-Fi access and complimentary coffee. If you're interested in booking one of their rooms for a conference, be sure to check out their website for pricing information.

We got the new 2023 NMAX ABS 155 Metallic Blue.
Is this something we invested in just for joyrides and merely luxury? NO! Just a little story time, i feel lucky to have my boyfriend who waits patiently for me outside my workplace every day. Even after his work ends at 9 pm, he doesn't leave without me and waits for almost five hours outside, ensuring my safety. I end my work at two o'clock in the morning. I truly admire his patience and care for me.
Recently, my workmate told me that she and her live in partner invested in a new motorcycle together. Her live in partner works for a motorcycle taxi company, it is rampant here in Cebu, there are a lot of motorcycle taxi companies like : Maxim, Angkas , Joy Ride or Move It, and my workmate told me that ever since her live in partner worked for Maxim, they have no financial problems as his income is huge. When I shared this with my beau, he got interested, and we decided to invest in a motorcycle too. He plans to work part-time at a motorcycle taxi company after his work so that we can have some extra income. After he gets out from his work at 9:00 pm, he will drive part-time until 2:00 am until I get out from my work. This way, he can utilize the time he spends waiting for me outside every day. More income for him.
Having a motorcycle in Cebu City means more travel opportunities for me, which also results in more travel blogs. It's like hitting two birds with one stone - not only do I get to explore different places, but I also earn extra income. I'm excited to share more travel blogs with you once we get our motorcycle registration sorted out. Meanwhile, we have to park our motorcycle at the restaurant where my beau works because of their large parking area and 24/7 security guards, ensuring our new motorcycleโs safety.
NMAX motorcycles can also charge cellphones and it needs an adaptor. We found one at SM but we did not buy it yet because we were unsure if it will fit into our motorcycle.
Since my boyfriend and I hold Philippine driver's licenses and know how to ride motorcycles, we're eligible to travel around the city without any hindrance. We're just waiting for our motorcycle registration to be released so we can start traveling around the city. It's important to have a motorcycle registration, or else you'll be penalized and have to pay a hefty fine, regardless of having a Driverโs License.
I can help it but get teary-eyed, our shadow pictures back then used to be us walking, but now, finally riding our hard-earned motorcycle. We prayed and we worked hard for this. Surreal how it finally came to life.
I definitely could not wait to share more travel blogs with you soonest! Manifesting for more income to gain, more travel blogs to write, and more safe travels to come. Ciao!โบ๏ธโก
