My therapist has given me an assignment of listing my achievements that I neglect or have forgotten about. Since I really like doing all these paper stuff at the moment, I decided to just make a journal specifically for that.
I don't have the best memory so making and having this journal will help me be reminded of the things I have achieved so far. Having the wrong mindset will easily make yourself believe in the wrong things and these achievement reminders will keep me grounded and realistic.
I recently bought a printer since I realized we need it for printing important documents and I also wanted to print my artworks and stick them on the wall. I printed the pictures on a sticker paper so I don't have to use glue or tape for the pages.
I have this paper cutter thing that I ordered recently and when I tried it it sucked. LOL. It has a tiny blade under that white thing and you need to slide it to cut. The problem is it's hard to know where exactly you're cutting it compared to just using a cutter and ruler. I ended up using the good ol scissors. :P
I have journal notebooks specifically for different topics but they are mostly 160 pages and I don't think I'll write a hundred pages just for achievements... so I got myself this blank craft book.
It has 20 thick pages inside which is perfect for this purpose. I mean, I will be writing small achievements in another journal as well but this book will be more of highlights for the past 2 years for me.
It has this ugly ribbon which I then cut after. XD
I like how the lettering turned out.
I really love how this one turned out. It was not easy picking from my set of papers and stickers as I wanted a flowery vibe without it being necessarily vintage-looking. I only have vintage and cute set of papers lol so I had to be very picky to match the style I wanted for this page.
Also now I think about it... maybe this should have been "achievements journal"... with an s. Hmmp. Oh well.
On the next page is the first achievement that I can think of. These will be in no particular order so it wouldn't matter if on the first page is from the year 2022. :P
Sticking these papers are soooo fun. I really miss doing this. :D
Those are @rubencress photographs right there!
First achievement is of course the Paris exhibit one. :D I like the cute style.
My penmanship is not exactly what I wanted but it's fine still. :P
I enjoyed making these 3 first pages and looking forward to do the rest. I have listed the big as well as small achievements that I accomplished and this is a really nice exercise for anyone.
