These beautiful pictures were taken from the “Fortín de la Galera”, located in Margarita Island, specifically in Juan Griego, built many years ago with the purpose of protecting the island from possible attacks, here in Juan Griego this is the highest hill, as you can see the view is beautiful, fresh and there are always people visiting; nowadays it is a tourist attraction with an impressive view of the bay and its surroundings.

Here you can see the colonial architecture while you walk and take a stroll, I like to visit this kind of old places perfectly preserved, thick walls, cannons and an interesting military history of that time, certainly a site that can not miss if you are visiting the island.

Estas fotos hermosas fueron tomadas desde El Fortín de la Galera, ubicado en la Isla de Margarita, específicamente en Juan Griego, construido hace muchos años con la finalidad de proteger a la isla de posibles ataques, aquí en Juan Griego esta es la loma más alta, como podrán ver la vista es hermosa, fresca y siempre hay personas visitando; actualmente es una atracción turística con una impresionante vista de la bahía y sus alrededores.

Aquí puedes ver la arquitectura colonial mientras caminas y das un paseo, a mi me gusta visitar este tipo de lugares antiguos perfectamente conservados, gruesos muros, cañones y una interesante historia militar de aquella época, sin duda un sitio que no pueden dejar de visitar si estás de visita en la isla.
