Between so many bazaars that are held in my city, it is difficult to go to all of them. On Friday I had to do some things at the Sambil Mall, so I took the opportunity to go to the Fifth Edition of the Christmas Bazaar organized by the renowned Alfonso Paredes. I had attended a previous bazaar about a month ago, also organized by Alfonso, but this new event was bigger.
Entre tantos bazares que se celebran en mi ciudad, es difícil ir a todos. El viernes tuve que hacer unas cosas en el Centro Comercial Sambil, así que aproveché para ir a la Quinta Edición del Bazar Navideño organizado por el reconocido Alfonso Paredes. Había asistido a un bazar anterior hace aproximadamente un mes, también organizado por Alfonso, pero este nuevo evento era más grande.
Once again the hall of the prestigious Lidotel De Barquisimeto was the perfect setting for a wide variety of entrepreneurs, stores and services that wanted to promote their brand, make themselves known to a wider audience in the city and also make sales while the bazaar was going on.
December 15, 16 and 17. That means you can still attend the closing, if you are in that city. During those days there is also a Christmas Bazaar at La Flor de Venezuela, which is very close to the Sambil and the Lidotel. I was not able to go to that one, but if you want you can explore and visit both bazaars.
Una vez más el salón del prestigioso Lidotel De Barquisimeto fue el escenario perfecto para una gran variedad de emprendedores, tiendas y servicios que querían promocionar su marca, darse a conocer a un público más amplio en la ciudad y además realizar ventas mientras se desarrollaba el bazar.
15, 16 y 17 de diciembre. Eso significa que aún puede asistir a la clausura, si se encuentra en esa ciudad. Durante esos días también hay un Bazar Navideño en La Flor de Venezuela, que está muy cerca del Sambil y del Lidotel. Yo no pude ir a ese, pero si quieres puedes explorar y visitar ambos bazares.

I really liked the tour I took. Everything was very organized. All the stands had a QR code so that attendees could scan it and check their website or social networks. I loved how the Lidotel was decorated, with Christmas spirit. Plus the atmosphere was very welcoming. It reminded me of the times I did other weddings there. I also did quinceañera sessions there. Fond memories of my time when one of my occupations was photography.
One of the first booths that caught my eye was Azabache. The gentlemen there were very nice. They offered me to try the product, but I had to refuse because I could not consume alcoholic beverages. But from a distance you could see that it is a good product. Especially its star product, El Cocuy, a drink that is cultural heritage of the country. I had a presentation with coffee that I wanted to try, but no. I could not be tempted. I could not give in to temptation.
Me gustó mucho el tour que hice. Todo estaba muy organizado. Todos los stands tenían un código QR para que los asistentes pudieran escanearlo y consultar su página web o sus redes sociales. Me encantó cómo estaba decorado el Lidotel, con espíritu navideño. Además el ambiente era muy acogedor. Me recordó a las veces que hice otras bodas allí. También hice sesiones de quinceañeras allí. Gratos recuerdos de mi época en la que una de mis ocupaciones era la fotografía.
Una de las primeras cabinas que me llamó la atención fue Azabache. Los señores que estaban allí fueron muy amables. Me ofrecieron probar el producto, pero tuve que negarme porque no podía consumir bebidas alcohólicas. Pero desde lejos se veía que es un buen producto. Especialmente su producto estrella, El Cocuy, una bebida que es patrimonio cultural del país. Tenía una presentación con café que quería probar, pero no. No podía caer en la tentación.

Another booth where I spent more time was the AVI products booth and the Clavitos y Papelón booth. Both offered cookies, cupcakes, cakes with whipped cream, among many other delicacies. I really suffer visiting these bazaars. I am a bit of a masochist. Whoever accompanied me did buy one of the cakes and thought it was wonderful.
Another thing I could not try was the chocolate liqueur sold by Chocolate Extemo, which also had a great variety of chocolate cakes, cookies, etc. on display. All with dark chocolate. My favorite. I asked people who tried the chocolate and they told me it was great, they recommended it. I thought they were ideal for Christmas gifts. Instead of giving wine that nobody will drink, it is better to give this chocolate liqueur as a gift.
Otro de los stands en los que pasé más tiempo fue el de productos AVI y el de Clavitos y Papelón. Ambos ofrecían galletas, magdalenas, pasteles con nata montada, entre otras muchas delicias. Realmente sufro visitando estos bazares. Soy un poco masoquista. Quien me acompañaba sí compró uno de los pasteles y le pareció maravilloso.
Otra de las cosas que no pude probar, fue el licor de chocolate que vendía Chocolate Extemo, que también tenía expuestos una gran variedad de pasteles de chocolate, galletas, etc. Todo con chocolate amargo. Mi favorito. Pregunté a la gente que probó el chocolate y me dijeron que estaba buenísimo, me lo recomendaron. Me parecieron ideales para regalar en Navidad. En vez de regalar vino que nadie se beberá, mejor regalar este licor de chocolate.

The Grinch and Santa Claus delighted the visitors. They did not stop taking pictures with people who asked for them. Children and adults too, everyone wanted to take pictures with them. The Grinch was in character, getting into mischief.
These characters were at the stand of the Si Se Puede Foundation. This is a non-profit foundation that is dedicated to doing activities for the benefit of the community. They take care of children, the elderly, etc. They are always doing commendable social work. They are constantly organizing activities to collect donations. It is wonderful to see noble people doing this beautiful work, for the benefit of the needy. They had a wide variety of colorful flannels for sale.
El Grinch y Papá Noel hacían las delicias de los visitantes. No paraban de hacerse fotos con la gente que se lo pedía. Niños y adultos también, todos querían hacerse fotos con ellos. El Grinch estaba metido en su personaje, haciendo travesuras.
Estos personajes estaban en el stand de la Fundación Si Se Puede. Se trata de una fundación sin ánimo de lucro que se dedica a realizar actividades en beneficio de la comunidad. Se ocupan de niños, ancianos, etc. Siempre están haciendo una labor social encomiable. Constantemente organizan actividades de recogida de donativos. Es maravilloso ver a gente noble haciendo esta hermosa labor, en beneficio de los necesitados. Tenían a la venta una gran variedad de franelas muy coloridas.
Clothes, accessories, shoes, watches, makeup, beauty products, glasses, bracelets, handmade necklaces, jewelry and even cell phone accessories. There was everything for every taste. It was impossible to leave without buying something, either for yourself or as a gift. Different prices, depending on the amount of money available, but you can find cheap things for those on a tight budget. I took the opportunity to buy a wallet, the one I had was crying out to be changed.
Ropa, accesorios, zapatos, relojes, maquillaje, productos de belleza, gafas, pulseras, collares hechos a mano, joyas e incluso accesorios para móviles. Había de todo y para todos los gustos. Era imposible irse sin comprar algo, ya fuera para uno mismo o para regalar. Diferentes precios, dependiendo de la cantidad de dinero disponible, pero se pueden encontrar cosas baratas para los que tienen un presupuesto ajustado. Aproveché para comprar una cartera, la que tenía pedía a gritos ser cambiada.

I was fascinated by Lois Desing. What beautiful designs made with flexible dough they had in stock. The prices were not cheap, but definitely worth it. The work is of great quality. I took lots of pictures of everything they had for sale. If you want to give a gift that will captivate, this is a great option.
The famous strawberries and cream store, Fresma, was also there. They have been in town for many years and have several locations in different areas. They just opened another one in the town of Cabudare. They were at the bezar a week ago, an integral mma, held at the Trinitarias Suites Hotel and they are sharing on networks the video with singer Nacho tasting their strawberries with cream.
Me fascinó Lois Desing. Qué hermoso diseños hechos con masa flexible tenían en stock. Los precios no eran baratos, pero definitivamente valían la pena. El trabajo es de gran calidad. Tomé muchas fotos de todo lo que tenían a la venta. Si quieres hacer un regalo que cautive, ésta es una gran opción.
El famoso negocio de fresas con nata, Fresma, también estaba allí. Llevan muchos años en la ciudad y tienen varios locales en distintas zonas. Acaban de abrir otro en la ciudad de Cabudare. Estuvieron en el bezar hace una semana, un mma integral, celebrado en el Hotel Trinitarias Suites y están compartiendo en redes el video con el cantante Nacho degustando sus fresas con crema.

As expected, the bazaar constantly has musical presentations of artists invited by Alfonso. Dance academies and of course, fashion shows by the staff of models who belong to the organizer's modeling academy. Several young people paraded through the aisles of the bazaar wearing outfits from the participating firms. Making the stay in the bazaar, a very pleasant time, with many things to see and have a fun time. I hope to be able to attend again before the bazaar ends to enjoy other fashion shows.
The next few days will be a little busy with family matters, but I will try to attend other similar events that are held to bring you the news in another publication.
Como era de esperarse, el bazar cuenta constantemente con presentaciones musicales de artistas invitados por Alfonso. Academias de baile y por supuesto, desfiles de moda a cargo del staff de modelos que pertenecen a la academia de modelaje del organizador. Varios jóvenes desfilaron por los pasillos del bazar luciendo trajes de las firmas participantes. Haciendo de la estancia en el bazar, un rato muy agradable, con muchas cosas que ver y pasar un rato divertido. Espero poder asistir de nuevo antes de que termine el bazar para disfrutar de otros desfiles de moda.
Los próximos días estarán un poco ocupados con asuntos familiares, pero intentaré asistir a otros eventos similares que se celebren para traeros las novedades en otra publicación.
