Disconnect and transform yourself: that was the slogan used to promote this event commemorating the Third Meeting of Guerreras en Tacones (Warriors in Heels) over several months. Under the direction of Jeanette Gil, a motivational coach, she is responsible for conducting workshops, consultations, and events that encourage people to develop and improve their skills.
This third edition took place in a natural paradise. The Caujaro estate, located in the state of Yaracuy, but very close to the exit of the city of Barquisimeto, making it easily accessible. This space is managed by the couple who own Genete Lo Nuestro magazine, which has been in circulation for 15 years. The spaces are beautiful and ideal for getting in touch with nature and having a good time. Total relaxation.
Desconecta y transfórmate: ese fue el eslogan utilizado para promocionar este evento conmemorativo del Tercer Encuentro de Guerreras en Tacones durante varios meses. Bajo la dirección de Jeanette Gil, coach motivacional, ella es la responsable de llevar a cabo talleres, consultas y eventos que animan a las personas a desarrollar y mejorar sus habilidades.
Esta tercera edición tuvo lugar en un paraíso natural. La finca Caujaro, situada en el estado de Yaracuy, pero muy cerca de la salida de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, por lo que es fácilmente accesible. Este espacio está gestionado por la pareja propietaria de la revista Genete Lo Nuestro, que lleva 15 años en circulación. Los espacios son preciosos e ideales para estar en contacto con la naturaleza y pasar un buen rato. Relajación total.
The disconnection was completely serious. The data signal from a couple of telephone companies does not work very well in the area, and the Wi-Fi connection was very weak, so all attendees were left without an Internet connection. Some were terrified of not having a connection, but they quickly recovered, as there were many activities scheduled to keep them busy throughout the day.
The weather was very cool, both in Barquisimeto and in that area, as it had rained during the early morning and there were threatening clouds. There was a light drizzle, but that did not prevent the program from continuing. The first thing was breakfast and words from the organizers, hosts, and guest facilitators. The event had several sponsors, who made sure there was no shortage of food or drink throughout the day.
La desconexión fue totalmente seria. La señal de datos de un par de compañías telefónicas no funciona muy bien en la zona, y la conexión Wi-Fi era muy débil, por lo que todos los asistentes se quedaron sin conexión a Internet. Algunos se mostraron aterrados por no tener conexión, pero rápidamente se recuperaron, ya que había muchas actividades programadas para mantenerlos ocupados durante todo el día.
El tiempo era muy fresco, tanto en Barquisimeto como en esa zona, ya que había llovido durante la madrugada y había nubes amenazantes. Había una ligera llovizna, pero eso no impidió que se siguiera el programa. Lo primero fue el desayuno y las palabras de los organizadores, anfitriones y facilitadores invitados. El evento contó con varios patrocinadores, que se aseguraron de que no faltara comida ni bebida durante todo el día.
There were four facilitators, each responsible for a specific area. A psychologist, an experiential learning and laughter therapy coach, an expert in holistic cosmetology, and another in mindfulness. Participants were divided into groups with a set time to rotate between facilitators.
The talks, exercises, and activities were very interesting and productive. I tried to disconnect and relax a little, even though I had to be active taking photos and videos of the activity. Disconnecting from the Internet is not a problem for me. Although I work with the Internet and need to be connected, I am not one of those people who are constantly looking at their phones.
Había cuatro facilitadores, cada uno responsable de un área específica. Un psicólogo, un coach de aprendizaje experiencial y terapia de la risa, un experto en cosmetología holística y otro en mindfulness. Los participantes se dividieron en grupos con un tiempo establecido para rotar entre los facilitadores.
Las charlas, los ejercicios y las actividades fueron muy interesantes y productivos. Intenté desconectar y relajarme un poco, aunque tenía que estar activo tomando fotos y vídeos de la actividad. Desconectarme de Internet no es un problema para mí, aunque trabajo con Internet y necesito estar conectado, no soy de esas personas que están constantemente mirando el teléfono.

It was a day to relax. I took a break from my diet and ate things I shouldn't have eaten, but it's okay to do that once in a while. Luis Jiménez, owner of the Naguara website, was also present and shared his story and how he managed to succeed in his businesses despite adversity.
A final mindfulness session and a toast with cocuy, a typical drink from the state of Lara, brought the activity to a close. We all boarded the bus provided by the transportation company, which took us to and from the starting point. It was 6:30 p.m. when we arrived, and I had to hurry to find transportation home. The activity was excellent.

Fue un día para relajarse. Me tomé un descanso de mi dieta y comí cosas que no debería haber comido, pero está bien hacerlo de vez en cuando. Una última sesión de mindfulness y un brindis con cocuy, una bebida típica del estado de Lara, pusieron fin a la actividad. Todos subimos al autobús proporcionado por la empresa de transporte, que se encargó de llevarnos y traernos desde el punto de partida. Eran las 6:30 p. m. cuando llegamos, y tuve que apresurarme para encontrar transporte a mi casa. La actividad fue excelente.
