¿Qué tal amigos? Espero que todo bien. Tenía semanas sin escribir y bueno han pasado algunas cosas, entre ellas el trabajo, también que me quedé sin teléfono y algunas ocupaciones y estrés del día a día.
Cerré Octubre celebrando mi cumpleaños, el 23 de Octubre cumplí 43. Hace unos años que ya no es igual, no evito el hecho de pensar en que mi papá y hermana mayor también cumplían años en Octubre y ya no están, pero la vida sigue y bueno, como es costumbre en mi trabajo, me cantaron cumpleaños con un pequeño pastel o torta, también comimos arroz chino, es algo que hacemos cada vez que alguien cumpleaños en la Rectificadora.
En casa tenemos una meta, no dejar pasar por alto ningún cumpleaños y aunque no estábamos en el mejor momento, ya que ese día habían muchas ocupaciones y también mi suegro fue operado en la mañana, mi esposa había encargado hace días un quesillo o dulce de leche como algunos también lo conocen en sus países. Este quesillo lo hizo una chica Venezolana que tiene un emprendimiento aquí en la ciudad y como mi esposa sabe que soy fan de este dulce, en lugar de una torta, me regaló un quesillo.

How are you folks? I hope all is well. I haven't written for weeks and well some things have happened, among them work, also that I lost my phone and some day to day stresses and occupations.
I closed October celebrating my birthday, on the 23rd of October I turned 43. It hasn't been the same for a few years now, I don't avoid the fact that my dad and older sister also had their birthdays in October and they are no longer here, but life goes on and well, as is customary in my work, they sang birthday to me with a small cake or cake, we also ate Chinese rice, it is something we do every time someone has a birthday in the Rectifier.
At home we have a goal, not to miss any birthday and although we were not in the best moment, because that day there were many occupations and also my father-in-law was operated in the morning, my wife had ordered days ago a quesillo or dulce de leche as some people also know it in their countries. This quesillo was made by a Venezuelan girl who has a business here in the city and as my wife knows that I am a fan of this sweet, instead of a cake, she gave me a quesillo.
La presentación estaba muy bonita, y en casa mis hijos y mi esposa me cantaron cumpleaños, luego repartimos un pedazo de quesillo para cada uno, lo mejor es que me comí la mitad solo, ya que a los niños no les podemos dar tanto dulce y mi esposa es más fan de la comida salada y asados, así que ella misma me dijo, ese quesillo es tuyo jeje.
Así fue como pasé mi día y agradeciendo a Dios por darme la oportunidad de seguir con mi vida y disfrutar de mi familia, aún cuando hay algunos que ya no están. Los niños me cantaron cumpleaños en inglés también jeje y la cena fue algo especial, aún cuando no teníamos energía eléctrica, ya que en Ecuador hay cortes de luz por una sequía que se vive en el país. Bueno chicos, es todo, espero estar un poco más activo por aquí.

The presentation was very nice, and at home my children and my wife sang birthday to me, then we distributed a piece of quesillo for each one, the best thing is that I ate half of it alone, since we can't give the children so much sweet and my wife is more a fan of salty food and roasts, so she told me herself, that quesillo is yours hehe.
That's how I spent my day and thanking God for giving me the opportunity to go on with my life and enjoy my family, even though there are some who are no longer with us. The kids sang birthday to me in English too hehe and the dinner was something special, even though we didn't have electricity, because in Ecuador there are power cuts due to a drought in the country.
