Hola chicos ¿qué tal?
Cierro esta semana contándoles algunas actividad que realicé el día de ayer. Y es que bueno, cada cierto tiempo Joaquin y yo vamos al barbero, como ya les he contado antes, es un amigo Venezolano y somos clientes en su barbería, no somos tan recurrentes, pero siempre vamos con él a hacernos cortar el cabello.
Ya les había dicho que mi hijo Joaquin se deja cortar el cabello solo, eso es un gran avance y ahora puedo ir solo con él a la barbería también y tener ese momento de padre e hijo. Por otra parte cada día me queda menos cabello que cortar jeje, esto es algo que me trauma un poco pero bueno, tocará hacerse un implante capilar o algo para el futuro.
Por otra parte, en estos días me he distraído jugando dominó con la familia, anoche jugamos nuevamente un rato, la primera ronda la gané junto a mi cuñada, y la segunda la perdí, me ganó mi cuñada y mi hija. Así es esto de jugar dominó debes crear una buena jugada y tener las fichas para armarla, también es importante tener un buen compañero, yo siempre tuve alguien que sabia jugar bien, pero en la segunda ronda a mi otro compañero y a mi, no nos fue tan bien. Lo importante es que disfrutamos un rato.
Jugar dominó un rato me distrae del estrés, de estar pensando en tantas cosas que a veces como adultos y padres pensamos en lo que hace falta, lo que necesitamos y cosas así y más aún como les dije en una publicación pasada que en estos días mis hijos estuvieron enfermos, así que aproveché a distraerme un rato, pasarla bien y bueno también nos reímos de algunas cosas, ya que hablábamos y contábamos cosas durante la partida jeje.
Bueno chicos, eso fue todo lo que hice este fin de semana. Hoy son las elecciones presidenciales en Ecuador, así que pasaré en casa tranquilo.

Hi guys, how's it going?
I’m wrapping up this week by telling you about some things I did yesterday. So, every now and then, Joaquin and I go to the barber—as I’ve mentioned before, he’s a Venezuelan friend and we’re customers at his barbershop. We’re not super regular, but we always go to him to get our hair cut.
I’d already told you that my son Joaquin now lets his hair be cut without any trouble, which is a big step forward, and now I can go with him alone to the barbershop and enjoy that father-son moment. On the other hand, there’s less and less hair for me to cut each time haha—it kind of stresses me out a bit, but hey, maybe I’ll need a hair transplant or something in the future.
Also, lately I’ve been spending some time playing dominoes with the family. We played again last night; I won the first round with my sister-in-law, and lost the second one—my sister-in-law and my daughter beat me. That’s how dominoes go: you need to make a good play and have the right tiles to pull it off. It also helps to have a good partner. I usually have someone who plays well, but in the second round, my teammate and I didn’t do so great. The important thing is that we had a good time.
Playing dominoes helps me take my mind off stress and all the things we adults and parents tend to worry about—what’s missing, what we need, and so on. And as I mentioned in a previous post, my kids were sick recently, so I took the opportunity to relax a bit, have fun, and laugh about some things as we chatted and shared stories during the game haha.
Well guys, that’s all I did this weekend. Today are the presidential elections in Ecuador, so I’ll be spending a quiet day at home.
