Quería hacerles un video contándoles algunas cosas que he estado haciendo, sin embargo les escribo un resumen.
Soy migrante y siempre ha gustado estar legal, incluso entramos (mi familia y yo) de manera legal este país y luego tuve que sacar visa, pero hace 2 años, cuando mi visado temporal estaba por vencerse, realicé un registro migratorio que era obligatorio para todos los migrantes, independientemente de su nacionalidad, que estábamos en este país. Mientras estábamos en migración, a mi esposa y a mi nos dieron una mala asesoría, asegurandonos que yo podía optar por una visa humanitaria que se estaba dando, así que mi visa temporal se venció mientras realizaba el proceso para la otra.

I wanted to make a video telling you some things I have been doing, however I am writing a summary.
I am a migrant and have always liked to be legal, we even entered (my family and I) in a legal way this country and then I had to get a visa, but 2 years ago, when my temporary visa was about to expire, I made a migration registration that was mandatory for all migrants, regardless of their nationality, that we were in this country. While we were in immigration, my wife and I were given bad advice, assuring us that I was eligible for a humanitarian visa that was being given, so my temporary visa expired while I was going through the process for the other one.

Mi esposa recibió un correo de cancillería unas semanas después, donde me negaban la visa humanitaria y me pedían salir de país y pagar una multa y bueno, yo realmente no hago estas solicitudes, si no ella, ya que trabajo y se me hace complicado, cuando llegué a la casa ella estaba triste y angustiada, así que le dije para ir a la cancillería personalmente y allá, nos confirmaron la mala noticia, ya que nunca debí dejar que mi visa se venciera. Había una señora en información que nos trató muy mal y mi esposa tuvo una bajada de tensión, se puso muy mal, tuve que sacarla de allí.
Luego de mucho hablar, pensar y Eli llorar jeje, nos fuimos a casa. Esto me hacía complicado el estar en Ecuador, y la parte laboral, debía quedarme tranquilo sin mencionar nada, ya que podía perder mi empleo y nos quedamos esperando un nuevo decreto o reunir para ir hasta Bogota en Colombia y sacar desde allá una visa de amparo por mi hijo menor que es Ecuatoriano. Pero fue algo que no pudimos hacer.

My wife received an email from the chancellery a few weeks later, where they denied me the humanitarian visa and asked me to leave the country and pay a fine and well, I really do not make these requests, if not her, since I work and it is complicated for me, when I got home she was sad and distressed, so I told her to go to the chancellery personally and there, they confirmed the bad news, since I should never have let my visa expire. There was a lady in information who treated us very badly and my wife had a drop in blood pressure, she got very bad, I had to take her out of there.
After a lot of talking, thinking and Eli crying hehe, we went home. This made it complicated for me to be in Ecuador, and the labor part, I had to stay calm without mentioning anything, since I could lose my job and we were waiting for a new decree or meeting to go to Bogota in Colombia and get a protection visa from there for my youngest son who is Ecuadorian. But it was something we could not do.
Este 2025 ha sido un año de muchas cosas buenas en casa, y es que luego de tantos gastos, estrés y muchas cosas más, pude hacer una nueva solicitud de Visa y fue aprobada, me eliminaron la multa y estoy nuevamente regular. Esto fue una gran alegría en casa, reímos y agradecidos a Dios, ya que de verdad fueron tiempos angustiantes. Mi esposa también ingresó la solicitud de visa para las niñas y a ellas también se las aprobaron de uj día para otro en Febrero. Ya pronto tendremos nuestras cédulas y podemos estar bajo todo lo que implica la ley aquí.
Bueno muchachos, quería contarles esto, quizás para algunos sea algo de menos, pero para nosotros como familia significa un gran logro.

This 2025 has been a year of many good things at home, and that is that after so many expenses, stress and many other things, I was able to make a new Visa application and it was approved, the fine was eliminated and I am again regular. This was a great joy at home, we laughed and thanked God, because it was really an anxious time. My wife also submitted the visa application for the girls and they were also approved overnight in February. We will soon have our cedulas and we can be under all that the law implies here.
Well guys, I wanted to tell you about this, maybe for some it is a minor thing, but for us as a family it means a great achievement.
