Bienvenidos un día más a mi blog. Feliz inicio de fin semana. Espero que descansen y aprovechen estos días para retomar sus asuntos personales. Por aquí llueve y hoy no pude asistir a mi clase de Xtreme Bike. Pero bueno, ya sera la semana que viene que me active con eso.

Quiero contarles, que el fin de semana pasado tuve un día diferente. Resulta que una amiga del colegio, vino de España a visitar a su familia, ya tenía como 6 años sin venir a Venezuela. Y aprovechó para reunirse con nosotros, que aún vivimos aquí. Es increible escuchar sus anécdotas. Ella nos contaba que ella se sentía mejor aquí que en Europa. Ella nos decía que alla podía viajar, conocer, probar comida distinta, pero que nada como su tierra, como el calor de su familia y su hogar. Su felicidad está aquí, que viajar de turista es muy lindo, pero ser inmigrante es otra cosa.

Fue muy lindo vernos, por hasta incluso los que vivimos aquí no nos reunimos con frecuencia. Pero siempre hay un buen momento para recordar nuestras historias del colegio y conversar sobre nuestros otros compañeros. Yo creo que nos actualizamos.

La pasamos fabuloso. Tanto que quiero volver a repetir. Espero verlos pronto 💛

Welcome back to my blog. Happy start to the weekend. I hope you get some rest and take advantage of these days to catch up on your personal affairs. It's raining here, and I couldn't attend my Xtreme Bike class today. But anyway, I'll get back to it next week.

I want to tell you that last weekend I had a different kind of day. It turns out that a friend from school came from Spain to visit her family. She hadn't been to Venezuela in about six years. She took the opportunity to meet up with us, who still live here. It's incredible to hear her stories. She told us that she felt better here than in Europe. She said that there she could travel, explore, try different foods, but that nothing compares to her homeland, the warmth of her family, and her home. Her happiness is here. Traveling as a tourist is very nice, but being an immigrant is something else entirely.

It was very nice to see each other, because even those of us who live here don't get together often. But there's always a good time to remember our school stories and talk about our other classmates. I think we caught up.

We had a fabulous time. So much so that I want to do it again. I hope to see you soon 💛
