A week ago we held a citizen participation event focused on the improvement of Villa Olímpica Park. The day was very enriching, as it was attended by neighbors and representatives of different organizations of the sector, who shared ideas, needs and dreams to recover this important public space. An open and respectful dialogue was generated, where proposals emerged such as the incorporation of more green areas, children's playgrounds, sports areas and lighting, as well as the need to improve security and access. It was a valuable opportunity not only to gather opinions, but also to strengthen the link between the community and the municipality. This type of meeting reinforces the commitment to work together for safer, more inclusive and friendlier spaces. We thank all the people who participated and trust that, with their contribution, we will be able to move towards a park that is more alive, cared for and representative of the wishes of the entire community.

Hace una semana realizamos un evento de participación ciudadana enfocado en la mejora del Parque Villa Olímpica. La jornada fue muy enriquecedora, ya que asistieron vecinos, vecinas y representantes de distintas organizaciones del sector, quienes compartieron ideas, necesidades y sueños para recuperar este importante espacio público. Se generó un diálogo abierto y respetuoso, donde surgieron propuestas como la incorporación de más áreas verdes, juegos infantiles, zonas deportivas y luminarias, además de la necesidad de mejorar la seguridad y el acceso. Fue una instancia valiosa no solo para recoger opiniones, sino también para fortalecer el vínculo entre la comunidad y el municipio. Este tipo de encuentros refuerzan el compromiso de trabajar en conjunto por espacios más seguros, inclusivos y amigables. Agradecemos a todas las personas que participaron y confiamos en que, con su aporte, lograremos avanzar hacia un parque más vivo, cuidado y representativo de los deseos de toda la comunidad.
