I have never being a fan of football. Infact my worst sport is football. I dont enjoy watching them, their news or anything affiliated to it but somehow it happened.....
It was approaching the end of our stay in Uni and we had lined up on activities to be done prior to our final exams and graduation (FYP week)
As usual we kicked off by having sport activities done and everyone was expected to be on sports wear.
As one who isn't a lover of sports but then I had decided in my mind every moment would count and I make it worthwhile so i decided I would actively participate in all that is done and also have the fun of my life.
The various activities we had lined up was football, sack play, skipping, who's in the garden, running competition and a whole lot of it.
Soon everyone was divided into groups and the football match commenced.
I put in my every effort to it but ended up sprinkling my knee. I cared less as I wanted our team to win badly, such that even when another person was asked to replace me I refused.
But atlas our team didn't win. We tried anyways š
The fun of it was what trully mattered and that was an opportunity of having to bond with my coursemates from a way different with what I use to while in lecture halls.
It's an experience I loved and would love having again
