Hola Hivers!💫
Hello Hivers! 💫
Cumaná de Antaño is a celebration that we live every November 27 in my city, it is a party where with much love we honor that Colonial Cumaná that is full of beautiful dresses, facades of the time, decorations and antique objects, of course I went to enjoy this festivity in the company of my family, we had a spectacular time and today I share my experience with all of you! 📜✨
These holidays are the most special and awaited by the people of Cumaná because it celebrates the 509th birthday of the city of Cumaná which is the first born of the American Continent, so in the company of my daughter who had an outfit of old lady and my husband we went to the central area of the city where the celebration would take place. We arrived at the Bolivar square which had many Christmas decorations and walked to the Santa Inés Church to enjoy the various stands representative of the season.

After crossing the Bolivar square we began to find the various stands representing colonial facades, they had sales of handicrafts, sweets and more. We entered the Ateneo of the city, this is a very special place for me because here in my adolescence I took guitar lessons and I had the honor of being part of the Orquesta Típica del Estado Sucre, so this space is full of beautiful memories that I had the pleasure of sharing with my daughter.💖

We continued the walk and arrived at the Santa Inés Church, these streets were full of people, stands representing various situations of the time as slave houses, military tents, hospitals, houses of liberators and heroes such as Simon Bolivar and José Antonio Anzoátegui, monks, retretas of yesteryear and much more, I loved it because there were many stands with different themes that represented beautifully that Colonial Cumana.

Mi Cumaná querida fue homenajeada de una forma magistral, se merece eso y mucho más, la pasamos increíble y como siempre fue un placer compartir mis experiencias con ustedes! ✨ Gracias por leerme! 😃 Hasta muy pronto! 💫
Something that I loved was the amount of people dressed in the costumes of yesteryear and also explaining to our daughter everything of the time because although it is not the first time she attends these parties now pays a little more attention because she is older and then she is curious about everything unknown, so she asks a lot about everything, then we were explaining and it's great that she learns about history and culture of our city in a fun way and from her family!
My beloved Cumana was honored in a masterful way, she deserves that and much more, we had an amazing time and as always it was a pleasure to share my experiences with you! ✨ Thank you for reading me! 😃 See you very soon! 💫
