Visitar las ferias que se hacen en la ciudad es algo que me gusta mucho y a lo que intento asistir dentro de lo posible, por suerte Curitiba está llena de ellas, por lo que solo queda disponer de algo de tiempo para asistir y disfrutarlas. Hace poco les comenté que fuimos a la Feria de Invierno en la Plaza Osorio y aunque fue una visita y paseo bastante lindo olvidé por completo comprar un recuerdo de la feria para llevar a casa, así que quise volver nuevamente, esta vez con esta intención en mente.
Visiting the fairs held in the city is something I really enjoy and try to attend whenever possible. Luckily, Curitiba is full of them, so all you have to do is set aside some time to attend and enjoy them. I recently told you that we went to the Winter Fair in Osorio Square, and although it was a pretty nice visit and outing, I completely forgot to buy a souvenir from the fair to take home, so I wanted to go back again, this time with that in mind.
Para esta segunda visita a la feria fui en compañía de Dani, Mau y su mamá, a quienes les comenté la idea y un día después del trabajo nos dirigimos al centro para visitar nuevamente la Feria de Invierno, lo cual hicimos unos pocos días antes de que acabara.
For this second visit to the fair, I went with Dani, Mau, and their mom, to whom I told the idea and one day after work we headed downtown to visit the Winter Fair again, which we did a few days before it ended.
Aunque ya había visto todos los puestos de esta feria igual quise hacer un recorrido nuevo por todas ellas para poder buscar algo que me gustara para comprar como recuerdo. Vi tantas cosas lindas que fue bastante difícil para mí elegir algo, hasta que llegué a un puesto donde tenían una gran variedad de adornos para el hogar, todo elaborado en madera y con temáticas representativas de esta ciudad, como los lugares más turísticos de Curitiba y capibaras de todas formas y tamaños, ya que es este el animal más representativo de esta hermosa ciudad y los adornos con su figura no pueden faltar en ningún lugar.
Although I had already seen all the stalls at this fair, I still wanted to explore them all again so I could find something I liked to buy as a souvenir. I saw so many beautiful things that it was quite difficult for me to choose, until I came across a stall that had a wide variety of home decorations, all made of wood and with themes representative of this city, such as Curitiba's most touristic spots and capybaras of all shapes and sizes, since this is the most representative animal of this beautiful city, and decorations with their figures are a must-have anywhere.
Despues de ver todas las opciones me decidí por comprar un imán para la nevera, este en madera con la figura de un lindo capibara que dice "Capivara de Curitiba - PR" y además un termómetro que mide la temperatura tanto en C° como en F°. Tuvo un valor de R$ 8 (unos 1.47$ aproximadamente).
After looking at all the options I decided to buy a fridge magnet, this one made of wood with the figure of a cute capybara that says "Capivara de Curitiba - PR" and also a thermometer that measures the temperature in both C° and F°. It cost R$ 8 (approximately $1.47).
Luego de hacer mi feliz compra de un recuerdo de la feria para llegar a casa dimos otro paseo por la plaza, tomamos algunas fotos y nos fuimos a casa, pues, además de que ya se hacía tarde el frío que hacía era muy intenso y ya nos estábamos congelando.
Esta sin duda fue una feria muy linda, la cual tuve la oportunidad de visitar un par de veces y de la cual me quedó un lindo recuerdo en casa. Espero poder visitarla cada año y guardar en cada visita un recuerdo para la posteridad.
After happily purchasing a souvenir from the fair, we took another stroll around the plaza, took some photos, and headed home. Besides the fact that it was getting late, the cold was intense and we were already freezing.
This was undoubtedly a very nice fair, which I had the opportunity to visit a couple of times and which left me with fond memories. I hope to visit it every year and cherish a memory of each visit for posterity.
