This Tuesday, I went to the university again to complete administrative work and also to attend two teaching sessions for the study techniques course.

In the morning, there was no activity in the office because the university's system wasn't working and everything was handled there, which was a plus for me to take advantage of the time and prepare classes, and a pending postgraduate activity I would have in the afternoon, but that's another topic.

To contribute to student learning, I decided to change the strategy to encourage participation, feedback, and teamwork. I used colored notes on which I wrote keywords that would allow them to form concepts related to the topic.

I was taking notes on some things I wanted to explain in class while organizing the group dynamics. To help the students work better on the activity, we used a multipurpose room with rectangular seating. This way, we all look the same.

The idea is that they will form teams to develop ideas, then exchange the results with other teams so they can evaluate them.

The activity was quite productive. At the end, they presented an analysis of the results, I explained some points they needed to address, and I assigned them an activity for the next class.

I love working with group dynamics. The students participate much more, the class is more active, brainstorming is always happening, and the space was a great ally.

I know that being a teacher is a vocation. Many criticize me, but what I do makes me happy. And I will do everything I can to help students learn. That's why I continue to prepare for my master's degree in higher education, to always offer the best for students.

Éste martes nuevamente asistí a la universidad para cumplir con el trabajo administrativo y también atendería dos secciones a nivel docente con la materia técnicas de estudio.

Por la mañana no había movimiento en la oficina, porque el sistema de la universidad no esta funcionando y todo se maneja por allí, lo que fue un punto a mi favor para aprovechar el tiempo y preparar las clases, y una actividad pendiente del postgrado que tendría por la tarde, pero ese es otro tema.

Para contribuir con el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, decidí cambiar la estrategia a fin de incentivar la participación, la retroalimentación, y el trabajó en equipo. Utilice notas de colores en las cuales escribí palabras claves que les permitirian formar conceptos relacionados con el tema.

Estuve tomando notas de algunas cosas que les quería explicar en la clases, mientras organizaba la dinámica grupal. Para que los estudiantes pudiesen trabajar mejor la actividad, utilizamos un salón de usos múltiples donde los asientos están dispuestos en forma rectangular. Todos nos vemos iguales de esa forma.

La idea es que formarán equipos para desarrollar las ideas, luego se intercambiaran los resultados con otros equipos para que hicieran ellos mismos su valoración.

La dinámica fue bastante productiva, al final presentaron un análisis de los resultados, les explique algunos puntos que hacían falta, y les asigne actividad para la próxima clase.

Me encanta trabajar con dinámicas grupales, los estudiantes participan mucho más, la clase es mas activa, se genera siempre la lluvia de ideas y el espacio fue un gran aliado.

Esto de ser docente se que es por vocación, muchos critican, pero me hace feliz lo que hago. Y todo lo que pueda aportar para que en los estudiantes se genere aprendizaje, lo haré. Por eso también me sigo preparando en mi maestria en educación superior, para ofrecer siempre lo mejor para los estudiantes.
