I almost didn't make it to the meeting we had planned to say goodbye to the end of the seminar "Evaluation and Progress" for the Master's in Higher Education I'm currently pursuing. At home 🏡, my mom and I are having family issues that are keeping us busy right now. The truth is, I was able to attend after sorting out a few things; the truth is, I would have missed out on enjoying a super-nutritious, fun, and delicious get-together at a nice restaurant.

We arranged for the study group to meet at Ibéricos, a restaurant I've been wanting to visit for a long time, but things have been complicated for us to get there in the last few months. This time I couldn't miss the opportunity, and I arrived at the agreed-upon time. We would have the end of classes and then lunch.

In this restaurant, which has no advertising on the outside, upon entering you're surprised by how beautiful it is. The place exists behind some other world behind some black-covered glass. I loved it.

The decor was super nice. The teacher had an acquaintance there who allowed him to reserve a space for the small group. Upon entering, I saw that only the teacher and one other classmate had arrived a few minutes later.

We started taking lots of photos in a place that is definitely a dream, and is designed to capture moments, all while the rest of our classmates arrived.

From the beginning, the kindness of the staff was felt; we practically had the restaurant to ourselves, hehe, which seemed ideal to me. The professor is an open book; you can talk about anything with him, which makes the wait more enjoyable. He's also fun and witty, and he inspires confidence and respect.

When everyone was there, we took more photos, toasted while the food arrived, and expressed our gratitude for the opportunity. The professor held a final event to close the seminar, which I must say marked a before and after in my teaching career. I even managed to convince the professor to be my thesis advisor because he's ideal for my line of research.

We shared many experiences, talking about our jobs, families, and the things we see today that are completely different from our time, including education and parental concerns.

The food was delicious. Almost all of us ordered the daily menu, which only cost $7. They first offered us an incredibly delicious soup, then chicken or breast sautéed in vegetables and white sauce—they call it spring accompanied by the joys: red salad, tostones, and rice. Dessert was a chocolate cake to die for. Hehehe, the portion was perfect, and the blackberry juice was super refreshing.

Of course, the seminar experience will be unforgettable, but this place will make it even more so. We had a star-studded meeting 💫. We were all super relaxed and happy. To be honest, the atmosphere was ideal. There was harmony among everyone, which will allow us to work much better for the rest of the master's degree. I loved Ibéricos so much that I'm going to invite my husband to lunch so he can pay for it. Hehehe.

Casi, casi que no asisto al compartir que teníamos programado para despedir el final del seminario Evaluación y progreso en la maestría de educación superior que actualmente estoy cursando. En casa 🏡 tenemos situaciones familiares con mi mamá que nos ocupan en éste momento. Lo cierto es que pude asistir despues de resolver algunas cosas, la verdad es que me hubiese perdido el disfrutar de un encuentro súper nutrido, divertido y delicioso en un bonito restaurante.

Acordamos el grupo de estudios para encontrarnos en Ibéricos, un restaurante que hace ufff que quería visitar pero que se nos han complicado las cosas los últimos meses para ir. Ésta vez no podía perder la oportunidad y llegué a la hora acordada, tendríamos el final de la clases y luego un almuerzo.

En éste restaurante que al exterior no cuenta con nada de publicidad, al entrar sorprende lo hermoso que es, es otro mundo el lugar que existe detras de unos cristales cubiertos de color negro, me encantó.

La decoración estaba súper linda. El profesor tenia un conocido en el lugar que le permitió reservar un espacio para el pequeño grupo. Al entrar ví que solo había llegado el profesor y otra compañera a los pocos minutos.

Comenzamos a tomarnos muchas fotografías en un lugar que definitivamente es un sueño, y está destinado para capturar momentos, todo mientras llegaba el resto de los compañeros.

Desde el inicio se sintió la amabilidad de sus trabajadores, casi teníamos el restaurante para nosotros solos, Jejeje, lo que me pareció ideal. El profesor es un libro abierto, de todo se puede conversar con el, eso hace la espera mas amena, aparte que es divertido, ocurrente, nos da confianza pero también respeto.

Cuando ya estábamos todos, nos tomamos más fotografías, brindamos mientras llegaba la comida, agradecimos la oportunidad, del encuentro, el profesor realizó una dinámica final para cerrar el seminario, que debo decir que ha marcado en mi camino docente un antes y un después, incluso logré convencer al profesor que fuese mi tutor de tesis, porque es ideal para mí linea de investigación.

Estuvimos compartiendo muchas experiencias, hablando de nuestros trabajos, de las familias, de las cosas que se ven hoy día que no se parecen en nada a nuestra época, incluyendo la educación y la preocupación de los padres.

La comida estuvo deliciosa, casi todos pedimos el menú del día, que solo costaba 7$, y nos ofrecieron primero una sopa increíblemente deliciosa, luego pollo o pechuga salteada en vegetales y salsa blanca, ellos la llaman a la primavera, acompañado de los contentos: ensalada roja, tostones y arroz. El postre era una torta de chocolate de muerte lenta, Jejeje, la porción estaba perfecta, un jugo de mora súper refrescante.

Por supuesto que la experiencia del seminario será inolvidable, pero éste lugar lo hará aún más. Tuvimos un encuentro de estrellas 💫, todos estabamos super relajados, contentos, siendo sinceros, el ambiente el ideal, había una armonía entre todos, que nos permitirá trabajar mucho mejor para el resto de la maestría. Me encantó tanto Ibéricos, que invitaré a mi esposo a comer para que pague él, Jejeje.
