I meant to write this yesterday, but ran out of time. Firstly, Id like to wish everybody a happy Bastille day! Joyeux Bastille tu la monde!
My son and I started off the weekend at my parents place, about 1.5 hrs from me. We had a play in the park with his friend down the street, and then the boys came in to play minecraft on the ipad and xbox, a popular game, but one I dont understand. They played guns and dinosaurs in the park, whilst I got to knit with a view. Here are some photos of the lovely park.
We had a relaxing afternoon whilst alternating between the tv, and youtube and games on the ipad, my sons favourite game on the ipad at the moment is brawl stars!
On Sunday, I awoke early to a beautiful sunset that was cleary visible from my parents balcony, here are some quick shots I got with my Iphone doing phone photography, I wished I had brought my DSLR camera with me.
We left my parents place at around 10 am, with my mother driving us back to my place, and dropping us off whilst she visited a friend.
For the first two hours home, my son alternated between youtube kids on the apple tv, and the ipad.
We then headed to the local shops and movie cinema. We brought our tickets, and then went to kmart where my son got a toy dragon from how to train your dragon. We came back to the movies and my son got a second dragon, this one a soft toy, also from how to train your dragon.
We then went in as it was time for the how to train your dragon movie to start. It actually wasn’t that bad of a movie, although i felt like 2 hours was a little too long.
We then caught the bus back to mine, and played on the ipad some more until grandma arrived to take my son home.
I finished off the day by watching the beautiful sunset outside my living room window, and later having a friend come over. Here are some more quick photos taken with an iphone 16.
