Today I want to talk about a vegetable that is very common in our home and that is Arve, which is also known as Taro Root in English. Arve is a root vegetable that looks like a potato but its taste and health benefits are different and special.There are many ways to cook Arve. Some people make it with gravy, while others cook it dry like a stir fry. In my home we cook Arve with mild spices and garnish it with fresh coriander. It tastes amazing with roti.
Arve gives energy to the body because it is full of natural carbohydrates. It also helps with digestion because it contains fiber. Itโs good for the heart too because it has potassium. If you have trouble sleeping or feel weak, then vegetables like Arve can be very helpful.
At first, I didnโt really like Arve. But when I learned how to cook it properly, I started enjoying both the taste and the health benefits. Now I try to cook it at least once a week.
