Hace poco estuvimos de paseo por el C.C. Sambil y me encontré con una nueva exposición de arte en el área que tienen reservada para tal fin. En esta oportunidad se trataba de fotografías, que confieso a veces me gustan más que las pinturas, sobre todo cuando se trata de imágenes capturadas en las tareas cotidianas del margariteño que reflejen parte de lo que en cierto modo nos representa.
La exposición se llama Miradas de un recorrido: Un viaje visual organizada por el Colectivo fotográfico de imprevisto, de quien hace unos meses, en febrero específicamente les compartí un poco de una exposición que presentaron en Lidotel ubicado en este mismo centro comercial.
La exposición se compone de fotografías tomadas por diferentes fotógrafos de la isla en las poblaciones de La Guardia y Macano, básicamente según lo que indica la placa que identifica la exposición, más allá de enfocarse en el paisaje, los lentes se enfocaron en quienes dan vida a cada uno de estos pueblitos pequeños de nuestro estado, como lo son su gente, así que los podemos ver frente a sus casas en sus oficios diarios, algunos trabajando, otros disfrutando de descanso y hasta una que otra mascota.
A mi este tipo de fotografías me encanta, y es algo que siempre he querido hacer porque como saben vivo en un pueblito de pescadores donde cada vez que paso por sus calles pienso "esta seria una foto preciosa". No hay una sola casa donde no estén varias personas haciendo cualquier actividad, ya sea conversando, comiendo, reparando o haciendo nazas para la pesca o jugando dominó, pero adivinen? Me da muchísima pena bajarme y preguntarles si les puedo tomar fotos 🫠
En el caso de estas preciosas fotografías fueron tomadas por profesionales en una actividad especial para tal fin, y como pueden ver son absolutamente hermosas, o por lo menos para mí lo son, y aquí debajo les dejo mis favoritas.

Recently we were strolling around the Sambil shopping mall and I came across a new art exhibition in the area they have reserved for that purpose. This time it was photographs, which I confess I sometimes like more than paintings, especially when it comes to images captured in the daily tasks of the Margaritans that reflect part of what somehow represents us.
The exhibition is called Miradas de un recorrido: Un viaje visual organized by the Colectivo fotográfico de imprevisto, of whom a few months ago, specifically in February I shared with you a bit of an exhibition they presented at Lidotel located in this same mall.
The exhibition consists of photographs taken by different photographers of the island in the towns of La Guardia and Macano, basically according to what the plaque that identifies the exhibition indicates, beyond focusing on the landscape, the lenses focused on those who give life to each of these small towns of our state, as are its people, so we can see them in front of their homes in their daily trades, some working, others enjoying rest and even a pet or two.
I love this kind of photography, and it's something I've always wanted to do because as you know I live in a small fishing village where every time I pass by its streets I think "this would be a beautiful picture ". There is not a single house where there are not several people doing any activity, whether it is talking, eating, repairing or making nazas for fishing or playing dominoes, but guess what? I'm too embarrassed to get down and ask them if I can take pictures of them 🫠
In the case of these beautiful pictures they were taken by professionals in a special activity for that purpose, and as you can see they are absolutely beautiful, or at least for me they are, and here below I leave you my favorites.
