Yo finalmente tengo algo más de tiempo libre, porque últimamente había estado vuelta loca entregando asignaciones en la universidad, espero para la semana que viene haber terminado con todo porque tengo varias cosas que no he podido contarles.
Una de ellas es sobre esta ocasión que ya he mencionado en algunos post, especialmente felicitando a mi amiga Karla por su logro, pero, tengo algunas experiencias y bloopers de este show que quería compartirles.

I finally have some more free time, because lately I have been going crazy turning in assignments at the university, I hope to be done with everything by next week because I have several things that I have not been able to tell you about.
One of them is about this occasion that I have already mentioned in some posts, especially congratulating my friend Karla for her achievement, but, I have some experiences and bloopers from this show that I wanted to share with you.
Recordando que la acompañé a prepararse esa misma mañana para su presentación que era a las 2 PM y ella pasó por mí a las 10 AM, yo en mi mentecita dije Bueno, si me da tiempo acompañarla y luego prepararme yo, aunque sea echarme algo para taparme las ojeras enormes que tengo. 🤔
Pues no mi ciela🙃, resulta que salimos tarde de allá y tuvimos que llegar corriendo a prepararnos y no me dio chance de nada, solo de cambiarme y Karla volvió a pasar por mí, menos mal mi cabello colaboró y no se veía tan mal en las fotos. 🙏🏽
Después de que Karla vino a buscarme, pasamos por novio que nos acompañaría también, por supuesto. Tuvimos que salir mucho más temprano porque debíamos pasar buscando los dulces que eran responsabilidad de Karla llevar para los acompañantes y jurados.
Remembering that I went with her to get ready that same morning for her presentation which was at 2 PM and she picked me up at 10 AM, in my little mind I said Well, if I have time to go with her and then get ready myself, even if it's just to put something to cover the huge dark circles under my eyes that I have. 🤔
Well, no gurl🙃, it turns out that we left late and we had to run to get ready and I didn't have a chance, just to change and Karla came back to pick me up, luckily my hair cooperated and it didn't look so bad in the pictures. 🙏🏽
After Karla came to pick me up, we went to pick up my boyfriend who would accompany us too, of course. We had to leave much earlier because we had to pick up the candy that was Karla's responsibility to bring for the escorts and jurors.
Así que nos dirigimos hacia una parte de nuestra ciudad que es algo lejos para buscar los dulces, yo estaba un poco perdida honestamente.
Al llegar ahí, su novio me dice que él vivió un tiempo en esa zona y que había una casa que era leyenda porque supuestamente nadie duraba ahí ni una semana, porque pasaban cosas paranormales. La verdad era una casa grande y daba algo de miedo por fuera.
So we headed towards a part of our city that is a bit far away to look for the candy, I was a bit lost honestly.
When I got there, her boyfriend told me that he lived in that area for a while and that there was a house that was a legend because supposedly nobody stayed there even for a week, because paranormal things happened there. The truth was that it was a big house and it was kind of scary from the outside.
Después de buscar los dulces, nos dirigimos hacia la universidad para preparar todo antes de que llegasen los jurados.
Yo nunca había estado en una presentación de tesis, así que quería ir viendo como era todo el proceso para ir anotando para cuando me toque a mí.
Karla me iba contando todo, desde los avances en el trabajo hasta todo lo que le tocó hacer de protocolo y así pude experimentar que es un proceso bastante largo y estresante.
After getting the candy, we headed to the university to get everything ready before the jurors arrived.
I had never been to a thesis presentation, so I wanted to see what the whole process was like so I could take notes when it was my turn.
Karla was telling me everything, from the progress of the work to everything she had to do as a protocol, so I could experience that it is a very long and stressful process.

Ella presentó junto a un compañero, no sé como se le llama a esto, pero, me dijo que si escogía esta forma de presentar, tuviera cuidado con quien iba hacer eso porque no es por hablar mal, pero Karla hizo casi todo el trabajo y su compañero no era muy responsable que digamos, así que tenemos que intentar estar con personas responsables que sumen y no nos retrasen más. Buen consejo. 👌🏽
Finalmente presentaron y todo salió muy bien, fue muy satisfactorio escuchar TESIS APROBADA✅ y ver las lágrimas en los ojos de sus padres.
Fue un momento muy bonito y me alegra mucho que me haya tomado en cuenta para estar en él también.
She presented together with a partner, I don't know what you call this, but, she told me that if I chose this way of presenting, to be careful with who I was going to do because I not to speak badly, but Karla did almost all the work and her partner was not very responsible, so we have to try to be with responsible people who add up and don't delay us more. Good advice. 👌🏽
Finally, they presented and everything went very well, it was very satisfying to hear THESIS APPROVED✅ and to see the tears in her parents' eyes.
It was a very nice moment and I am so glad she took me into consideration to be in it as well.
Después de todo esta era Karla que ya no soportaba sus tacones y se acabó el glamour. 😂
After all this was Karla who could no longer stand her heels and no more glamour. 😂
Comimos los pasapalos y dulces en un parpadeo, nos tomamos muchas fotos y como no habíamos almorzado, terminamos yendo a comer arroz chino.
We ate the snacks and sweets in the blink of an eye, took lots of pictures and since we hadn't had lunch, we ended up going for Chinese rice.

Para finalizar nos reunimos en casa de Karla con una botella de Mal Portada para celebrar, yo no soy nada bebedora, pero por ser su día y por ser sangría lo que beberían, me uní al bochinche. 😂
To finish we gathered at Karla's house with a bottle of Mal Portada to celebrate, I am not a drinker at all, but since it was her day and it was sangria, I joined the party. 😂
Fue un gran día pese a que todo al principio empezó algo apurado y apuntaba a que iba a salir mal. Mi amiga es Ingeniero y fue un honor acompañarla en todo este proceso, antes, durante y después. 💗
It was a great day even though everything started out a bit rushed at the beginning and looked like it was going to go wrong. My friend is an engineer and it was an honor to accompany her throughout this process, before, during, and after. 💗
