Celebrando la revelación de género, ¿será niño o niña? [Esp/Eng]

¡Hola, amigos! Espero que tengan un fantástico inicio de semana. Quisiera contarles sobre el grandioso día que tuvimos en familia el sábado para saber el género del bebe de una tía. Hace un mes que mi hermana le propuso a mi tía que realizáramos esa fiesta y a ella le pareció una grandiosa idea, así que nos pidió que nos encargáramos. No teníamos mucho presupuesto, pero sí todas las ganas para hacer algo sencillo e igualmente bonito.

Me puse manos a la obra con mi hermana, sacamos cálculos, elegimos la decoración y luego fuimos a comprar todo lo que pudimos. Como no teníamos mucho dinero, casi todo lo hicimos por nuestra cuenta: las decoraciones y el refrigerio. Nos llevó aproximadamente cuatro días hacerlo todo, ya que solo éramos dos.

Ese día nos paramos a las 6:00 a. m., rogando para que no lloviese en la tarde, que era cuando haríamos la fiesta. Me planché el pelo porque estaba bastante feo, mientras mi mamá y mi hermana hacían las tortas y las galletas. Cuando terminé, me puse a recortar unos corazones de cartulina que me faltaban. A las 2:00 p.m. llegó el taxi a buscarnos y acomodamos todo como pudimos para irnos.

Llegamos bastante tarde porque la fiesta era a las dos y esa hora llegamos, pero no había nadie, por lo que nos pusimos a decorar lo más rápido que pudimos. Al poco tiempo llegaron unos invitados y nos ayudaron a terminar la decoración. A mí me pareció que quedó realmente linda, y lo más importante fue que a mi tía le encantó.

Durante la fiesta hicimos varias dinámicas que había visto en Internet, como colocar el día en que creían que iba a nacer el bebé y colocar un corazón de color azul o rosado si creían que era niña o niño. También hicimos varios juegos: con un hilo debíamos adivinar el tamaño de la barriga de mi tía. La persona que lo adivinó fue la mejor amiga de mi tía, todos estamos sorprendidos porque nadie de la familia lo había logrado.

Otros juegos fueron: intentar meter un color colgado en la cintura con un hilo en una botella; los hombres se colocaron globos debajo de la camisa e intentaron quitarse y volver a colocar los zapatos (en una de esas ganó el papá). También colocamos globos con notar adentro con premios o retos, todos debían ir explotándolos para ver qué les salía. A mí me tocó darle un consejo al papá y me gané una galleta.

Para casi finalizar la fiesta, sacaron la piñata que tenía adentro el color del género, hicimos la cuenta regresiva y ¡sorpresa, era un niño! Yo ya sabía, pero fue emocionante ver la reacción de todos. El papá estaba un poco triste porque quería tener otra niña, aunque igualmente estaba feliz. Lo último que hicimos fue abrir los regalos y casi todos eran de niños o neutros, la mayoría esperaba niño.

La fiesta terminó a las cinco de la tarde, afortunadamente todo este tiempo hizo bastante sol. A las seis llamamos un taxi, en el camino la vista era preciosa. Eso fue todo, espero que haya sido de su agrado, hasta la próxima 💖

Hello, friends! I hope you are having a fantastic start to the week. I would like to tell you about the great day we had as a family on Saturday to find out the gender of an aunt's baby. It was about a month ago that my sister suggested to my aunt that we have that party and she thought it was a great idea, so she asked us to take charge. We didn't have much budget, but we had all the desire to do something simple and equally beautiful.

I got to work with my sister, we made calculations, chose the decorations and then went shopping for everything we could. Since we didn't have much money, we did almost everything on our own: the decorations and the refreshments. It took us about four days to do everything, since there were only two of us.

That day we stood up at 6:00 a.m., praying that it wouldn't rain in the afternoon, which was when we would have the party. I ironed my hair because it was pretty ugly, while my mom and sister made the cakes and cookies. When I finished, I started to cut out some cardboard hearts that I was missing. At 2:00 p.m. the cab came to pick us up and we arranged everything as best we could to leave.

We arrived quite late because the party was at two o'clock and we arrived at that time, but there was no one there, so we started decorating as fast as we could. Soon some guests arrived and helped us to finish the decoration. I thought it looked really nice, and the most important thing was that my aunt loved it.

During the party, we did several exercises that I had seen on the Internet, such as placing the day they thought the baby was going to be born and placing a blue or pink heart if they thought it was a girl or a boy. We also played several games: with a string we had to guess the size of my aunt's belly. The person who guessed it was my aunt's best friend, we were all surprised because no one in the family had ever guessed it.

Other games were: trying to put a color hanging from the waist with a string in a bottle; the men put balloons under their shirts and tried to take off and put their shoes back on (the dad won in one of those). We also placed balloons with notes inside with prizes or challenges, everyone had to pop them to see what came out. I got to give the dad a tip and won a cookie.

To almost end the party, they brought out the piñata that had the color of the gender inside, we counted down and surprise, it was a boy! I already knew, but it was exciting to see everyone's reaction. The dad was a little sad because he wanted to have another girl, but he was happy all the same. The last thing we did was open the gifts and almost all of them were boys or neutral, most were expecting boys.

The party ended at five in the afternoon, fortunately it was sunny all this time. At six o'clock we called a cab, on the way the view was beautiful. That was all, I hope you liked it, see you next time 💖
