Head of teaching practice activities
The world should always invest more in concerned citizens, in generations with values, in people who create environments and develop; that is, in the integral education of individuals. Society recognizes this, hence the importance of each individual to be professionalized in various areas, but we all go through the classrooms of schools, colleges or universities to achieve development goals, there we find great teachers of life and teachers who sometimes challenge us, sometimes lack a little more, but it is part of the process.
From the above the importance of humanistic and pedagogical careers, the training of educators able to lead by the hand each generation of relief in the countries and in the world; but in our country, in Venezuela, the recognition of educators has lagged behind, among other professionals who also have a hard time, and this makes many have to do other alternative things leaving aside their dedication.
However, we cannot speak of a country that has given up, in my daily life I have stepped into many classrooms with a lot of illusions in my students, precisely in the area of Humanities and Education, I have seen how some students still want to be professionals to train other professionals and that is worthy of recognition.

El mundo siempre debe invertir más en ciudadanos preocupados, en generaciones con valores, en gente que crea ambientes y desarrolla; es decir, en la educación integral de los individuos. La sociedad lo reconoce, por ello la importancia de que cada individuo se profesionalice en diversas áreas, pero todos pasamos por las aulas de clases de colegios, institutos o universidades para alcanzar metas de desarrollo, allí encontramos grandes maestros de vida y profesores que a veces nos retan, otras veces falta un poco más, pero es parte del proceso.
De lo anterior la importancia de las carreras humanísticas y pedagógicas, la formación de educadores aptos para llevar de la mano a cada generación de relevo en los países y en el mundo; pero en nuestro país, en Venezuela, el reconocimiento hacia los educadores ha quedado rezagado, entre otros profesionales que también la pasan complicado, y esto hace que muchos deban hacer otras cosas alternativas dejando a un lado su dedicación.
Sin embargo, no se puede hablar de un país que se ha rendido, en mi vida cotidiana he pisado muchas aulas con un montón de ilusiones en mis alumnos, justamente en el área de Humanidades y Educación, me ha tocado ver como algunos estudiantes todavía quieren ser profesionales para formar otros profesionales y eso es merecedor de reconocimiento.
Just this semester, I had to coordinate a curricular unit called "Professional Practice II", where the students spend 120 academic hours in different schools and institutions in the area and carry out activities accompanied by teachers tutors, perform various support activities, teach classes, plan workshops, lectures, in short, they have an experience of the future activity of importance that they will do upon graduation.
For this reason, it is my turn as a teacher of Professional Practice II, to supervise them in the work environments, in this opportunity I visited one of the Private Institutes where I taught a long time ago and also a pilot school in the area, where I studied high school, I felt nostalgia, a little sorry for some of the deteriorated spaces, but I was also happy that they exist and continue to keep their doors open to continue training the children.
The most beautiful part of this visit as coordinator representing my university was to meet again with some graduates who, like the students who are currently attending the unit, were my students and are currently working in different administrative and academic positions in the institutions, being part of the next generation. All this is a sign that, in spite of the conditions that are pressing the country, there is a mystique in the teachers who are in love with their way of life.
It is an ideal that in the future the great work of trainers at all levels, of each teacher, of each university professor, of each of the workers of the institutions would be recognized, because just as in factories, or in service plants, or in other institutions, the work in schools and educational institutions is to build a country, to form the future and to create better people.
I was only in charge of these activities this semester, but if I were to have the experience again, I would surely be as proud as I am now.
Justo este semestre en curso, me ha tocado coordinar una unidad curricular llamada “Práctica Profesional II”, donde los chicos ubican 120 horas académicas en los diferentes colegios e instituciones de la zona y llevan a cabo actividades acompañados de docentes tutores, realizan actividades diversas de soporte, dictan clases, planifican talleres, charlas, en fin, tienen una experiencia de la futura actividad de importancia que harán al graduarse.
Por tal motivo, me toca como profesora de Práctica Profesional II, supervisarlos en los entornos laborales, en esta oportunidad visité uno de los Institutos Privados donde hace mucho tiempo impartí clases e igualmente un colegio piloto de la zona, donde estudié bachillerato, sentí nostalgia, un poco de pena por algunos de los espacios deteriorados, e igual sentí alegría de que existan y sigan manteniendo sus puertas abiertas para continuar formando a los chicos.
De esta visita como coordinadora representando mi universidad, la parte más linda fue reencontrarme con algunos egresados, que al igual que los chicos que actualmente cursan la unidad, fueron mis alumnos y actualmente se desempeñan en diferentes cargos administrativos y académicos en las instituciones, formando parte de las generaciones de relevo. Todo esto es señal, de que a pesar de que las condiciones que apremian al país, existe mística en los docentes enamorados de su estilo de vida.
Es un ideal que en un futuro se reconociera la gran labor de los formadores a todo nivel, de cada maestro, de cada profesor universitario, de la cada uno de los obreros de las instituciones, porque al igual que en las fábricas, o en las plantas de servicios, o en otras instituciones, la labor en los colegios e instituciones educativas es construir un país, formar futuro y crear mejores personas.
Estuve sólo este semestre como jefe de estas actividades, pero si me volviera a tocar la experiencia, seguramente estaré tan orgullosa como ahora.
