No sabía dónde hacer esta publicación. Porque Notion es una tecnología, pero me pareció propicio compartir esto en esta comunidad, no solo por el evento, sino por lo que ofrece esta tecnología y que nos puede ayudar a simplificar nuestra vida.

Do you know Notion?
I didn't know where to make this post. Because Notion is a technology, but it seemed appropriate to share this in this community, not only because of the event, but because of what this technology offers and that it can help us simplify our lives.
El sábado 14 de diciembre se celebró el Make With Notion en Valencia, Venezuela, un meetup en dónde, además de conectar con algunos usuarios que conocen o querían conocer un poco más de esta tecnología. También conocimos algunas actualizaciones nuevas y algunas que están por lanzarse.
Pero, ¿qué es Notion? Notion es una página en blanco en la que puedes hacer lo que quieras. Es un sitio en el que puedes guardar, anotar, agendar, organizar, o escribir tu vida privada o la de tu trabajo. Puedes hacer calendarios, agendar llamadas, hacer registros, guardar portafolios, enlazar archivos y otras aplicaciones, como Slack, por ejemplo, entre muchísimas otras cosas.
Notion está ofreciendo lo que necesitas para organizarte a un nivel cada vez mayor y es una tecnología que desplazaría a muchas aplicaciones como Trello o Asana. Es mucho más fácil e intuitivo.

On Saturday, December 14, Make With Notion was held in Valencia, Venezuela, a meetup where, in addition to connecting with some users who know or wanted to know a little more about this technology. We also got to know some new updates and some that are about to be launched.But, what is Notion? Notion is a blank page where you can do whatever you want. It is a place where you can save, annotate, schedule, organize, or write your private or work life. You can make calendars, schedule calls, make records, keep portfolios, link files and other applications, like Slack, for example, among many, many other things.
Notion is offering what you need to get organized at an ever-increasing level, and it's a technology that would displace many apps like Trello or Asana. It's much easier and more intuitive.

El evento fue pautado para la 1 de la tarde, pero empezó casi a las 2. Llegué justo a tiempo y en la entrada me dieron una libreta con un bolígrafo para tomar nota, además de un identificador. Lo primero que noté fue el set que utilizaron para hacer el evento, y debo decir que todo estaba increíblemente hermoso.

Luego empezaron las charlas impartidas por Klarena y Javier, quienes hablaron de Organización eficaz para ilustradores en Notion y Gestión de proyectos y equipos creativos, respectivamente. Además de dos charlas en diferido, de la mano de Valeria, quien nos habló de como hacer y vender plantillas en Notion. Y por Javier Flores, quien además de hablar de finanzas personales, nos regaló a todos los asistentes su plantilla de finanzas personales.
Según lo que leen, pueden tener una idea de que va todo esto de Notion, y tener un ejemplo parcial de las cosas que podemos hacer con ello.

Then began the talks given by Klarena and Javier, who spoke about Effective organization for illustrators in Notion and Project management and creative teams, respectively. In addition to two delayed talks, by Valeria, who talked about how to make and sell templates in Notion. And by Javier Flores, who in addition to talking about personal finance, gave us all the attendees his personal finance template.According to what you read, you can get an idea of what the Notion is all about, and have a partial example of the things we can do with it.

Break
Tuvimos un break entre las charlas presenciales y las diferidas bastante oportuno. Era mucha información la que estaba recibiendo y ya me estaba embotando, así que hicimos esta pausa y pude disfrutar de unos snacks muy ricos que consistieron en pan de jamón y de un cupcake bastante rico, y para tomar, agua.

Break
We had a break between the face-to-face and recorded talks, which was quite opportune. I was receiving a lot of information, and I was already getting dull, so we took this break and I enjoyed some delicious snacks consisting of ham bread and a delicious cupcake, and to drink, water.

Para finalizar nos entregaron Merch a todos los asistentes, y yo estaba superfeliz porque eran muchas cositas. También hubo una rifa bastante particular, porque cada quien tenía un sticker con un número y simplemente iban sacando números, y si salía el tuyo te entregaban Merch adicional. Yo me gané un curso para aprender Notion con ellos y eso me alegró muchísimo, obviamente.

At the end we were given Merch to all attendees, and I was super happy because there were many little things. There was also a very special raffle, because everyone had a sticker with a number, and they were simply drawing numbers, and if yours came up, they gave you additional Merch. I won a course to learn Notion with them and that made me very happy, obviously.

La merch que me dieron estaba increíblemente hermosa. Ya saben que tengo mucha Merch de todos los eventos a los que voy, además de que como estamos con @metamerch, siempre estamos en búsqueda de inspiración. Y esta sí que me inspiró mucho. Además de la libreta, me dieron un Tote Bag con un pack de sticker muy bonito, un llavero non la N de Notion, y un pack con el ícono de la aplicación.

The merch I got was incredibly beautiful. You know I have a lot of Merch from all the events I go to, plus since we are with @metamerch, we are always looking for inspiration. And this one really inspired me a lot. In addition to the notebook, I got a Tote Bag with a very nice sticker pack, a keychain non la N de Notion, and a pack with the icon of the app.
Yo estoy muy feliz con la experiencia, porque me encanta aprender de cosas nuevas. Conozco Notion desde hace un par de años y allí llevo mis apuntes de las clases de Platzi, además de tener todo el esquema y los links que comparto en las clases de Hive desde Cero. Pero conocer muchos más casos de uso y ver todas las aplicaciones que le puedo dar al programa, en vivo así como lo hicieron estos embajadores, fue otro nivel, porque despiertan este otro lado que utilizamos y que vivimos, que va más allá de Blockchain y de las redes sociales, de lo que estamos haciendo por allí y que involucran la productividad en nuestro trabajo y nuestro día a día. Y esta es la razón por la que quise compartir esta experiencia por acá. También me encantó, porque precisamente no tenía nada que ver con web3 y esto hace que nuestro cerebro avive la creatividad y entrene la elasticidad neuronal al aprender cosas nuevas.

I am very happy with the experience, because I love learning new things. I've known Notion for a couple of years and there I take my notes from the Platzi classes, besides having all the schema and links that I share in the Hive from Zero classes. But knowing many more use cases and seeing all the applications that I can give to the program, live as well as these ambassadors did, was another level. They awaken this other side that we use and that we live, that goes beyond Blockchain and social networks, of what we are doing over there and that involve productivity in our work and our day to day. And this is the reason I wanted to share this experience over here. I also loved it, because it had precisely nothing to do with web3 and this makes our brains to enliven creativity and train neuronal elasticity when learning new things.I hope this publication has awakened your curiosity.
