Hi, friends and family of Hive. It is a pleasure that I am sharing this story. So, um, this is a story about an accident. So, one of my course mates sent the above video in our group on WhatsApp. When I watched this video, I was really touched. The feeling of both fear and sympathy took a hold of me. I really felt sorry for the victim, even though I don't know who he is.
The accident that happened looked quite severe. Even if the victim survives, he might lose one of his legs. The blood at the scene was so much. This is actually the main reason I dislike bikes on tarred roads. I feel it's better to move around with it on undeveloped roads to avoid all these accidents and painful scenes.
After watching this video, I started thinking about how cruel life can be at times. Somebody would wake up in the morning, take his bath, eat, put on his clothes, and prepare to go out. Maybe the person has already made plans for what he wants to do when he gets back home. He might be excited and happy about many things. Then just like that, something can spoil all his plans and change his life in a moment. But, regardless, I pray that this young man will survive, at least.
Another thing that came to my mind was how recklessly some young people drive. At times, they drive as if they have a reserved life somewhere. They move at such high speeds, without thinking about their own safety and the safety of those around them. It’s just as if they don't value their own lives. Most of the time, when I'm walking on the road and I see them drive past me at a very high speed, the way they drive scares me. I don't know if they are really doing this just to be noticed. But even if it's for that, how can people appreciate you if you lose your life?
At least we should all take life more seriously. At times, these people who drive recklessly end up killing innocent people who love their lives and are trying to protect it. Even though I don't really know if that's exactly what happened in this young man's case.
But it made me remember something even with carefulness, people sometimes suffer from unforeseen accidents. So, the best we can do is not just try to protect ourselves. We need help from our Heavenly Father who told us that He cares about us. We should continuously ask Him for His protection. I don't think we can fully protect ourselves on our own, but we should do our part to help ourselves. At least, in any situation, we can proudly say that we valued and protected our lives.
I pray that this man survives, and that we all should not become victims of such accidents. May God keep us all safe and guide us wherever we go.
