Hi friends, we are almost at the end of an intense year and it is logical to look back and see all that we have achieved. As usual, the Lifestyle community proposes us to create and share our projects for the new year in the form of a vision board (info here), and it's something I've always liked to do, even long before I knew about Hive.
Every year that begins is like a blank canvas, in which we can reinvent ourselves and try to meet the goals we set for ourselves. Before thinking about my new goals I went to check which of the ones I had set for this year I managed to accomplish, either partially or in full 😅. And since Hive is a great storage tool, where you can easily access your memories, I just had to go back to my post from a year ago where I shared my goals for 2024, and it was very interesting what I found.
Hola amigos, ya casi llegamos al final de un intenso año y es lógico mirar atrás y ver todo lo que hemos logrado. Como es costumbre, la comunidad de Lifestyle nos propone crear y compartir nuestros proyectos para el año nuevo en forma de un tablero de visión (info aquí), y es algo que siempre me ha gustado hacer, incluso mucho antes de conocer sobre Hive.
Cada año que comienza es como un lienzo en blanco, en el que podemos reeinventarnos y tratar de cumplir las metas que nos propongamos. Antes de pensar en mis nuevas metas fui a chequear cuales de las que me había propuesto para este año logré cumplir, ya sea parcialmente o en totalidad 😅. Y como Hive es una gran herramienta de almacenamiento, en donde puedes acceder bien fácil a tus recuerdos, solo tuve que volver a mi publicación de hace un año en donde les compartía mis metas para el 2024, y fue muy interesante lo que encontré.
Summary of my goals for 2024
This was a year of many changes for me, and seeing the goals I set for myself gives me a lot of satisfaction to see that I accomplished several of them. I think the most important was to be able to travel to Brazil, at the beginning of this year I was still living in Cuba and it was wonderful to have the trip that would change my life and allow me to fulfill my other goals. One of them was to study and speak Portuguese fluently, and although I still have some way to go to reach fluency in this language, I can now communicate easily with other people and I am learning more every day.

Another goal achieved was to get to know new places with my husband, since we arrived in Brazil everything has been new for us and we have had the opportunity to see many beautiful places together, living unique experiences.

With respect to work I think I accomplished everything, because I have a stable job as I wanted in which I am doing very well and I have even been promoted. Besides that job I have been able to use my skills in English and Spanish to teach, hence the importance of learning a new language my friends.

Other proposed goals I have partially fulfilled, because from time to time I do exercises at home to keep in shape, but I am not very consistent in it. On the other hand we were able to reunite with my brother and arrived in time for the birth of my niece, but my dad is still in Cuba, it is very difficult to have them all in one place.
All in all, it has been a good year for me and my family and I know the new year will be even better.
Resumen de mis metas para el 2024
Este fue un año de muchos cambios para mí, y al ver las metas que me propuse me da mucha satisfacción al ver que cumplí con varias de ellas. Creo que la más importante fue poder viajar a Brasil, a principios de este año todavía vivía en Cuba y fue maravilloso que se diera el viaje que cambiaría mi vida y me permitiría cumplir con mis otras metas. Una de ellas era estudiar y hablar portugués de manera fluida, y aunque me falta un poco aun para alcanzar la fluidez en este idioma, actualmente puedo comunicarme fácilmente con las demás personas y cada día aprendo más.

Otra meta alcanzada fue la de conocer nuevos lugares con mi esposo, pues desde que llegamos a Brasil todo ha sido nuevo para nosotros y hemos tenido la oportunidad de ver muchos lugares bonitos juntos, viviendo experiencias únicas.

Con respecto al trabajo creo que lo cumplí todo, pues tengo un trabajo estable como quería en el cual me va muy bien y hasta he sido promovida. Además de ese trabajo he podido usar mis habilidades en el idioma inglés y español para impartir clases, de ahí la importancia de aprender una nueva lengua mis amigos.

Otras de las metas propuestas las he cumplido parcialmente, pues de vez en cuando hago ejercicios en casa para mantenerme en forma, pero no soy muy constante en ello. Por otra parte nos pudimos reunir con mi hermano y llegamos a tiempo para el nacimiento de mi sobrina, pero mi papá aún está en Cuba, es muy difícil tenerlos a todos en un solo lugar.
En resumen, ha sido un buen año para mí y mi familia y sé que el nuevo año será aún mejor.
⭐️ VISION BOARD 2025 ⭐️
Focusing on the new year, I think there are some goals that I have to keep and some new ones arise. Starting with family, which is the most important thing we have, I would like to see my dad again and if possible help him to come and live with me. Besides that I think this year will be "the year", the year I finally become a mom. Well yes, it's a big step, but I think it's time and my niece has helped me with the training 😅.

Regarding work, the truth is that for now I can't complain as I'm doing quite well, but I still don't feel like I'm in my dream job, I leave the door open for new opportunities in the future.
Being fluent in Portuguese is very important, given where I live, and although I have come a long way I know there is still work to be done. I would like to make some friends here and this would help me a lot with the language, and always keep my old friendships even if distance separates us.
Health is a very important point, that's why I keep focusing on doing physical exercise, and it's a constant goal on every vision board. There is also a need to relax, have fun and once in a while plan a little trip.
Without further ado, I think these are my goals for 2025 and I hope it will be a great year for me as well as for all of you. I wish you a happy end of the year 🥰🤗.
Enfocándome en el nuevo año, pienso que hay algunas metas que debo mantener y otras nuevas surgen. Empezando por la familia, que es lo más importante que tenemos, me gustaría volver a ver a mi papá y de ser posible ayudarlo para que venga a vivir conmigo. Además de eso creo que este año será "el año", el año en que finalmente me convierta en mamá. Pues si, es un gran paso, pero creo que es tiempo y mi sobrina me ha ayudado con el entrenamiento 😅.

Con respecto al trabajo, la verdad que por ahora no puedo quejarme pues me va bastante bien, pero aun no siento que estoy en mi trabajo soñado, dejo la puerta abierta para nuevas oportunidades en el futuro.
Ser fluente en el idioma portugués es muy importante, dado el lugar donde vivo, y aunque he avanzado mucho sé que aún queda trabajo por hacer. Me gustaría hacer algunos amigos aquí y esto me ayudaría bastante con el idioma, y siempre mantener mis viejas amistades aunque la distancia nos separe.
La salud es un punto muy importante, por eso sigo enfocada en hacer ejercicio físico, y es una meta constante en cada tablero de visión. También hay que relajarse, divertirse y de vez en cuando planificar un viajecito.
Sin más, creo que estas son mis metas para el 2025 y espero que sea un gran año tanto para mi como para todos ustedes. Les deseo un feliz fin de año 🥰🤗.
