¡Hola, amigos! ¿Cómo les va? Sean bienvenidos a mi blog @yelimarin en Hive. Es un gusto acompañarlos nuevamente y compartirles lo que fue la celebración de despedida de este año escolar, que estuvo cargado de muchos desafíos, tanto para los niños como para los padres.
Un Segundo Grado Lleno de Logros Segundo grado es una etapa clave para que los niños demuestren sus competencias en la lectura, sobre todo en la comprensión lectora y la entonación adecuada, según lo que estén leyendo. Mi hijo hacía esto desde primer grado y es algo que me llena de mucho orgullo, porque, aunque en tamaño sea uno de los más pequeños, es uno de los más inteligentes.
Mi pequeña estrellita tuvo la oportunidad este año escolar de ser el vocero de cultura del salón. Él fue el encargado de hacer las presentaciones en el aula y también de participar en las efemérides delante de todos en la escuela. Es un niño con buena dicción y excelente desenvolvimiento en el escenario.
Hello, friends! How are you doing? Welcome to my blog @yelimarin on Hive. It's a pleasure to be with you again and share with you what this year's end-of-school celebration was like, which was full of many challenges for both children and parents.
A Second Grade Full of Achievements Second grade is a key stage for children to demonstrate their reading skills, especially reading comprehension and proper intonation, depending on what they are reading. My son has been doing this since first grade, and it is something that fills me with pride because, although he is one of the smallest in size, he is one of the smartest.
My little star had the opportunity this school year to be the culture spokesperson for the classroom. He was in charge of making presentations in the classroom and also participating in school events in front of everyone at school. He is a child with good diction and excellent stage presence.
Diego es tan grande como el tamaño del compromiso que se le presente. Siempre hemos hablado de que, al momento de sus exposiciones, no debe quedarse en blanco. Él me dice que cuando se le olvida una palabra, improvisa y siempre saca adelante su participación. Es muy bueno exponiendo, aunque estamos haciendo algunos ajustes con el volumen de su voz.
Durante este tiempo, a Diego le tocó aprenderse muchos textos, los cuales eran extensos. Me sorprende la facilidad con la que mi hijo captaba estos textos tan largos de forma tan precisa. Esta es una de las actividades que mejor realiza, así como las matemáticas: aprende rápido números y operaciones. ¡Es un niño muy inteligente!
Este fue un grado muy exigente, su maestra fue muy exigente, pero Diego pudo cumplir y superar todas las expectativas para su nivel. Sacarle una "A" a su maestra en el boletín no es nada sencillo, ¡y él lo hizo con facilidad!
Diego is as big as the size of the commitment he faces. We have always talked about how, when giving presentations, he must not go blank. He tells me that when he forgets a word, he improvises and always manages to get through his presentation. He is very good at presenting, although we are making some adjustments to the volume of his voice.
During this time, Diego had to learn many texts, which were extensive. I am surprised at how easily my son grasped these long texts so accurately. This is one of the activities he does best, along with math: he learns numbers and operations quickly. He is a very intelligent child!
This was a very demanding grade, his teacher was very demanding, but Diego was able to meet and exceed all expectations for his level. Getting an “A” from his teacher on his report card is not easy, and he did it with ease!
Cierres de Proyecto: Un Año de Aprendizaje Colaborativo Tuvimos tres cierres de proyecto en este año escolar. El primero estuvo relacionado con la familia y logró una gran vinculación entre la familia y la escuela. Ese día pudimos ver a los niños en compañía de sus representantes, dando una breve reseña de lo que es su familia. Fue una actividad muy bonita y, por supuesto, yo estuve acompañando de primera mano a mi pequeño y, para asegurarme de que todo estuviera bien organizado, fui la vocera de su salón este año escolar.
El segundo momento pedagógico se enfocó en la lectura y la importancia de cultivar este hábito desde temprana edad. En este cierre de proyecto, los niños demostraron sus destrezas y debilidades con la lectura.
En cuanto al tercer momento pedagógico, la actividad estuvo enfocada en recorrer el país en sus diferentes estados. Para ello, los alumnos tuvieron que estudiar en grupo los distintos estados de Venezuela, destacando sus aspectos culturales y principales actividades económicas, entre otras potencialidades. Así que los niños, en compañía de sus representantes, tuvimos que recrear lo más emblemático de cada estado. Fue un gran aprendizaje para todos, ¡nos esforzamos y todo salió de maravilla!
Project Closings: A Year of Collaborative Learning We had three project closings this school year. The first was family-related and achieved a strong bond between families and the school. On that day, we saw the children accompanied by their representatives, giving a brief overview of their families. It was a very nice activity, and of course, I was there to accompany my little one. To make sure everything was well organized, I was the spokesperson for his classroom this school year.
The second educational moment focused on reading and the importance of cultivating this habit from an early age. At this project closure, the children demonstrated their reading skills and weaknesses.
As for the third educational moment, the activity focused on touring the country and its different states. To do this, the students had to study the different states of Venezuela in groups, highlighting their cultural aspects and main economic activities, among other potentialities. So the children, accompanied by their representatives, had to recreate the most emblematic aspects of each state. It was a great learning experience for everyone, we worked hard and everything turned out wonderfully!
Despedida y Nuevos Comienzos Se acaba el año escolar y llegan las merecidas vacaciones para todos esos niños que se esforzaron tanto: despertando temprano, estudiando, cumpliendo con sus asignaciones y sacando el mayor provecho a cada aprendizaje. Finalmente, llegó el día para celebrar, para compartir con sus amigos y despedir a sus maestras. Nos quedó mucho aprendizaje y vivencias.
Ahora llegó el momento de despedirnos de este segundo grado y agradecer a Dios por lo aprendido y por lo que vendrá. Sabemos que este nuevo año escolar estará lleno de sorpresas y, por supuesto, yo estaré ahí, lista y preparada para acompañar a mi pequeño en cada paso de su aprendizaje.

Farewell and New Beginnings The school year is coming to an end and a well-deserved vacation is here for all those children who worked so hard: waking up early, studying, completing their assignments, and making the most of every learning opportunity. Finally, the day has come to celebrate, to share with their friends, and to say goodbye to their teachers. We have learned and experienced so much.
Now it's time to say goodbye to second grade and thank God for what we've learned and for what's to come. We know that this new school year will be full of surprises, and of course, I'll be there, ready and prepared to accompany my little one every step of the way.
We're going to third grade! Congratulations!
