Have you ever tried eating an ice cream in a bun? This is normal in the Philippines and usually they use burger buns for it, well, in our place. Some use other type of bread but buns is the most used to create ice cream sandwich here. Aside from a cup, normal cones or sweet cones, a buns is also good to fill with creamylicious ice cream. Have you ever tried one?
To be honest, it is not my favorite but if I want something more fulfilling, I buy ice cream in a bun. But I remember back when I was still in elementary, I love to buy the one in a normal cones then as I eat it, I will push the ice cream into the tip, because why every dirty ice cream vendors won't fill the while cones. I want the ice cream to reach the end top of it because it taste good that way (╥﹏╥).
But anyways, we had ice cream again as a dessert after having lunch. Before I share that let me also share what we had for lunch. Actually, the weathers still bad until now. There's been a light rain though and the breeze is kinda cold. I'm thinking if I should take a bath today ಥ‿ಥ, haha.

So this is one of the key ingredients in this recipe. At first, I am having a second thought if taro is right mixing in Tinola. I had to ask mama and mommy F just to make sure ba. And they said it's okay, so I bought this instead of Papaya or Chayote which is the main real ingredients for Tinola. I already used Potato in Tinola and it's good, so this time I used Taro. (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)

I sauteed the garlic, onion and ginger first before putting the chicken cuts. I didn't out water in it immediately and just leave the chicken until they turn a little brown on both sides. After just that, I put two and half cup of water in it. I seasoned it with salt, pepper and MSG and let simmer the chicken for lioe thirty minutes. I want a tender chicken you know. Ehe. After that I just put the taro on top and let it cook until the taro soften.

I also put Malunggay or Moringa to make it a lil healthier - ah, this green also give color to this dish so, it's a really good ingredients

And it's done! Eating it with rice is the best. I love sipping it's soup as ut's heat really feels good to the throat and stomach. The spiciness from ginger and pepper is just - WHOA! (☆▽☆)

Now with our dessert, it's actually a late dessert because we had lunch at 11 but ka Gado take our route at 1, so yeah, its a late dessert, haha.

So Mom chose ice cream in a cup for 10 pesos and I chose mine in a cup for 20 pesos. And I know its only been 8 days since I last had ice cream, but you see, I can't just say no to cravings this time (≧▽≦). But at least It has 8 days interval no, haha.

Ahhh, it's raining again. Lol. But, you know, even if it's cold, cold foods is also perfect in this kind of weather (._.)ノ heh

Who wants? Ka Gado's ice cream flavor this time is Cheese and Avocado. I can really taste it but I love the cold and feeling if it in my tongue. It's the best feeling, the creaminess, the bits of cheese and avocado - they're the best!

Yum, yum \(๑╹◡╹๑)ノ♬
