Hello, greetings to everyone who is currently walking on this avenue of #ecency. This is my first presentation in the #icemcreamcreations community.
Ice cream is one of my guilty pleasures because although I recognize that the excess sugar in it and other ingredients can contribute to weight gain, I feel like a little girl again when I'm in front of a colorful and appealing ice cream.
One of my favorite ice creams living in Guyana is the Fernandes chocolate Double Crunch ice cream. (In Spanish, Fernández is spelled with a 'z', however in the case of this ice cream, it is spelled with an 's' at the end of the name).
I love it because the ice cream inside has a vanilla flavor; however, it has a hard layer of chocolate sprinkled with nuts like almonds or peanuts, which give it an exquisite and addictive crunch.
This type of ice cream popsicle is sold in practically all the stores and supermarkets in Georgetown, Guyana, and it costs 190 or 195 Guyanese dollars.
When I brought my mom from Cuba to Guyana, one of the many treats I wanted to pamper her with was precisely the Fernandes double crunch chocolate ice cream because, just like me, she is like a little girl when it comes to ice cream or cookies.
My son, for his part, prefers to place the popsicle stick on a plate or in a cup, break it into many small pieces, and add crushed Oreo cookies. He mixes it all together and then proceeds to consume it.
And this is how absolutely all the members of my family declare ourselves faithful lovers of this ice cream bar coated in chocolate with crunchy almonds embedded between the vanilla ice cream and that chocolate coating.
If you go to an ice cream shop or any supermarket and find this delicious double crunch chocolate ice cream popsicle from Fernandes, don't hesitate to try it and then let me know if you like it or not.
Thank you for welcoming me into this community sweet as good ice cream 🥰
