Another reason, is that they are marking territory, even if you don't believe it this is a way to mark, the kittens have in their cute and cute pads glands, these glands give off pheromones and with them many times they mark their territory or their favorite human, so that others know that you have an owner, hahaha.

On the other hand, kittens knead when they are happy, just as puppies wag their tails, kittens can knead to show joy and comfort, these chews can be accompanied by purring, meowing or other vocalizations.

The kittens, also knead a place to arrange it to their liking, this place can be the cushions, clean sheets, quilts or where to them better it seems to them is, to knead these something like arranging the bed, their nest, their shelter, even sometimes they give laps before going to bed, thing that is very funny and that makes them look similar to the dogs before lying down.

Mis piernas tienen pequeños hoyitos llenos de costras, estas mini cicatrices se las debo a Akiles, el ama subirse en mis piernas y en las de mi madre, amasarnos y luego dormir, incluso como dato curioso, el al igual que otro gato que tuve, Cristopher, a veces amasa usando también sus patas traseras, ahora bien, algunas de las razones por las que los gatos amasan, son las que te comparto en los siguientes párrafos:

Los gatitos al nacer y amamantarse, estimulan la mejor y mayor salida de la leche de los pezones de sus madres amasando, así que para ellos, esta es una conducta que les recuerda algo que fue grato para ellos, durante su etapa de cachorros, de la misma manera, para los gatos que como Akiles, que fueron destetados antes de la edad correcta, existe una carencia y este podría ser el motivo, en el caso de Akiles ya que realiza está conducta por largos periodos y como señale muchas veces babea mientras lo hace.

Otro motivo, es que están marcado territorio, si aunque no lo crees esta es una manera de marcar, los mininos tienen en sus lindas y cuchis almohadillas glándulas, estás glándulas despiden feromonas y con ellas muchas veces marcan su territorio o su humano favorito, para que otros sepan que tienes dueño, jajaja.

Por otro lado, los gatitos amasan cuando están alegres, así como los perritos mueven sus colas, los gatitos pueden amasar para manifestar alegría y comodidad, estas masitas pueden ir a acompañadas de ronroneos maullidos u otras vocalizaciones.

Los gatitos, también amansan un lugar para arreglarlo a su gusto, este lugar pueden ser los cojines, sabanas limpias, edredones o donde a ellos mejor les parezca es, amasar estos algo así como arreglar la cama, su nido, su refugio, incluso a veces dan vueltas antes de acostarse, cosa que es muy graciosa y que los hace lucir similares a los perros antes de echarse.

Por último, es importante señalar que los gatos amasan si se sienten felices y aprecian a sus humanos o por demostrar afecto hacia su persona favorita, si tu gato o gatos se suben sobre ti y amasan tu estómago, piernas o alguna otra parte blanda de tu cuerpo siéntete feliz, afortunado y honrado, ya que los gatos solo hacen esto con personas y otros animales en las confían, a los que aman y con quienes se sienten cómodos.
