Although I like the movie Catch Me If You Can, this post is not about chasing a con man...
Today, we are going to try to catch some cats. New cats, that arrived at my old house when I was not here. They just decided to move in, not exactly in the house, but they are around, in the garden. They are tame, they like when I cuddle them and also they like to eat. Quite normal, for all the cats.
What they do not like is to be calm and pose! That is why it is very hard to catch a photo of them. Almost impossible.
So, one of those two cats that came is completely grey. It resembles a Russain Blue, it has green eyes and short grey hair, but I guess it is just a domestic one. But maybe the cat experts could confirm :)
His character? Adores cuddles and food and gets really angry if I move him from my lap while sleeping. And those are actually the only moments I can take a photo of him, eating or sleeping in my lap.
Also, I could catch him playing in the garden, among the strawberries' leaves. I threw a small pebble in the grass and he thought something was moving there. Maybe a mouse or similar creature that he could hunt. What a pose 😆
A few days ago he brought a dead mole. A very tiny one, to proudly show that he can hunt.
My struggles to have any photo of him are shown in the next few takes.
Suzon (the hive grey diva's owner gave him that name 😇) thinks he is not photogenic so he moves as fast as he can while receiving my cuddles. Usually, after some time he calms down and likes to get comfy in my lap or on the top of my belly. Then he falls asleep there. For me, it's ok, but just until the mosquito bites get unbearable.
More cuddles for Suzon from me, and once again no successful take. Ugh, Tom Hanks had an easier task catching Leonardo DiCaprio than I taking a selfie with the grey guy.
Finally, he closed his eyes and fall asleep on my legs. His pillow was my arm. No lullaby was needed, just those relaxing cuddles after he got the food he likes. I could not move a lot, not to wake him up... But when it happened, I received very loud complaints in form of meooooooooooow, meoooooooooooow!!!
He is not the only guest in my garden. A white female cat is also coming, and she likes the same thing as Suzon. Food and caresses. However, she is more serene and poses a bit better.
The first thing you see is the white, long and soft hair she has. But also the colours of her eyes. Her left eye is blue and the right one is yellow/green. I wanted to know why, so searched for info. I think it is called heterochromia, though @ludmila.kyriakou could tell us maybe more about this. Do you have a white cat, with different coloured eyes?
She likes to stroll between the fruit trees and tomatoes, searching for shade during these warm summer days. Nothing best than spending time in the garden... and feeding the mosquitoes.
Her voice is thin, she meows with a thin voice. But she lets me know every time when she is hungry!
Give me some of that cat food you have bought for us, intruders.
Well, I like to call them guests, and not intruders. It was indeed a surprise when I saw them, the first day I arrived here. Seems they were so used to this place and garden so maybe I am the intruder in their eyes! Maybe that is the truth...
