Checking the #caturday Forecast

LittleBit came back for a visit for a few weeks and, of course, brought my late-husband's sister along with her. One night recently as we were watching the evening weather report on the television, she seemed particularly interested in the Caturday Forecast and stared intently at the screen! Fortunately, I was able to quietly grab my phone from the table beside me and make a pic before she looked away! 😁

The next day, true to the forecast, the day was sunny, warm, and with only a small chance of rain showers. So, she was able to enjoy plenty of time relaxing in the window with the sunbeams streaming down upon her little body.

LittleBit is a smallish cat (hence her name), but it amazes me how she can get into tight spaces with the greatest of ease. It's her superpower! To illustrate, here is my hand, touching the space where she was resting. It's so narrow that only three of my four fingers will fit on the space.

With a ruler, it only measures about 4.4 cm (1.75 inches)! It is amazing how a full-grown cat — six-years-old, so no longer a kitten! — can fit into such a narrow space!

Of course, only her little paws were on the space indicated, and her haunches were hanging off, either side, but still... and she was happy as a little clam up there! 😂
