Saturday noon, a hot day in Havana, Cuba, my girlfriend and I decided to make a break for a special place: El Golfito, a picturesque golf club that offered us much more than just holes and putters. Riding our electric motorcycle, we headed for this oasis of tranquility.
Upon arrival, we were met with an idyllic panorama. El Golfito is surrounded by a lush golf course, where the green grass was meticulously trimmed and seemed to stretch to the horizon. The beauty of nature blended with the elegance of the sport, creating a magical atmosphere.
We settled at a table near the field, from where we could watch the empty lawn (no one was playing). We ordered ice-cold beers that, like the fresh air of the place, seemed to have been designed to refresh the soul. With each sip, the flavor of the beer mixed with the gentle breeze that caressed our cheeks, creating a symphony of freshness that flooded our senses.
As we enjoyed our drinks, we talked about our dreams and future plans, sharing laughs and confidences, as if the tranquil surroundings of Golfito were a silent accomplice of our complicity.
This is an encounter that we love to have every now and then, because we take advantage of the moment to connect in a more direct way. It is a perfect occasion to talk about the future, about our jobs and anything else that comes to mind.
It is something that, if you are in a couple, I highly recommend you to do, because most of the time the routine and the rush of life leads us to be close, but disconnected from each other.
Beer note:
This is dispensed beer, it does not come in cans or bottles but in larger metal kegs and is served directly in glasses.
On this occasion they were serving Cristal beer, which is definitely a favorite in Cuba. I must add that lately getting this brand has become somewhat difficult and expensive, as imported brands are taking over the market at great speed. So I was grateful for the opportunity to taste one of these again.
Now it's your turn, tell me if you have ever tasted Cuban beer, if the answer is YES, tell me if you remember the brand and the taste. See you on another beer Saturday.
This is #beersaturday week and I would like to invite @nanixxx to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.
