The Beer

Kerel Grapefruit IPA is brewed by the VBDCK Brewery, based in Temse.
The brewery dates back to the 19th Century, when it was called the Verbeeck-Back Brewery.
In 2015, a new generation took over the brewery with a new bloodline – Verbeeck-Back-De Cock (VBDCK). It is proud to be a family run brewery.
Their Grapefruit IPA is slightly tarty and hoppy. Real grapefruit puree is added to produce this refreshing fruit beer.

Beer at my sofa
To have another nice background, I choose an old black leather sofa.

That messeage...
"untouched by monks"
goes for my understanding against the trappist breweries in Belgium who are run by monks.

The beer jumped out of the bottle - at the kitchen
Yeah, this was a bit surprising, as there was a lot of pressure within that little bottle and that gave me a hard job to catch all the beer.

The taste
Yeah, a good beer
even if there is fruit inside

They say...
The difference between drinking a fruit-flavoured beer and a fruit beer is the difference between buying a blow-up doll (or a battery-operated device) and finding true love. Don’t settle for the knock-off. Have the real thing: a beer whose wort is mixed with real grapefruit puree to allow the sugar to ferment out, leaving the tropical aromas behind.
