There are days when you can't have even a milliliter of alcohol in your blood (because, for example, you have to drive a car), and you want to drink it so much, that you can't control yourself 🙂
Well, today is such a day for me.
As I needed refreshment, and I wanted to continue my Robocraft odyssey (tasting all Robocraft brewery beers in order), I decided to choose the one with the lowest % alcohol from the several cans waiting in the tasting queue.
At the same time, I chose beer, which in its color, smell and taste does not resemble beer at all.
Robocraft Dream Machina, fruit sour.
Beer with 5% alcohol and ruby color of real blueberry juice.
In addition to the standard ingredients of a craft beer: barley malt, water, hops and brewer's yeast, this beer also contains blueberries, currants and lemon.
Cooled to the proper temperature, when pouring into a glass, it does not raise any foam, so at first glance you get the impression that this is not a carbonated drink but some non-carbonated fruit juice.
Maybe it doesn't have foam, but it has interesting shapes, like this one that looks like a ghost watching me from the glass 😱
Only at the first sip, you can feel not overly strong carbonation, weak bitterness and a lot of acidity that comes from lemon and blueberry.
A real refreshing drink.
As I was thirsty (and had not eaten anything), and drank it in a couple of sips in a very short time, I must admit that I felt the strength of this 5%.
Not that I'm drunk, but to get behind the wheel, I'll wait a minute longer. Maybe overbite something.
This Robocraft beer reminded me to be careful when I taste the rest of this brewery's beers.
It is possible that in them too, the amount of alcohol is hidden by refreshing tastes. We will see in one of the next tastings what my experience will be like.
This Robocraft Fruit Sour is a beer I would recommend to anyone who likes interesting, fruity, refreshing flavors.
