The weekend came and it is time for a #BeerSaturday post.
I visited Dublin two years ago. The capital of Ireland is a great place to visit, especially if you like to drink beer.
Of course, one of the first places I went was the Guinness Storehouse . That's where they make this beer.. One of the most famous breweries in the world.
It is very interesting that in this area of Dublin the most famous transport is.. riding a horse :) Yep, that is true - you can catch a horse taxi.
The Guinness buildings is constructed in 1902.
Don't ask why I kept my hands in my pockets - the weather in Dublin is actually very windy. After all, Ireland is on the island :)
After we finished our tour in the Storehouse,
it was finally time to go to the nearest pub and drink a few beers.
Here's what a typical Irish pub looks like.
Whenever I go to a pub, I find a funny poster or photo that makes me feel good.
This time I shot it :
I believe that I should not say what I have ordered. This is quite obvious.
GUINNESS BEER! A cold one :)
Actually as I remember I drunk two of them :)
In this photo I look much stronger than now .. I will start training again soon .. 😀
Of course, I was not alone in the pub. My girlfriend @gigiii was with me.
She had never tasted beer in her life, so I was very surprised when she told me she would try my Guinness beer ...
But as I guessed, she didn't like it.
Gigi hates beer ever since. I can understand it - honestly Guinness is not the best beer for me ..
When we left the pub (where, by the way, they didn't offer food..) we went to a restaurant for lunch..
We were walking when we saw this lovely house.
Gigi took a picture of me with the house because I am a big football/soccer fan and every time when I see stuff like this my heart beats faster :) In my opinion, this is an act of patriotism.
Dublin is a very cool place for visit. I recommend everyone who visits this city to check out the Guinness House and the area around it - the pubs and restaurants there are really amazing! C'mon the dubs!
Thank you all for reading :)
Stay positive!
