Um noch mal auf Nummer Sicher zu gehen, gab ich den Namen des Bieres welches ich heute vorstellen möchte, in das Übersetzungsprogramm ein und bin heilfroh darüber.

To be on the safe side, I entered the name of the beer I would like to present today into the translation program and I am very happy about it.

Vorab sei aber erst einmal erklärt was ich hier treibe, man weiß ja nie, vielleicht schaut jemand zu der noch nichts von @detlev´s #BeerSaturday gehört hat und daher kurz erklärt.
Jede Woche treffen sich hier ein paar Biertrinker aus aller Welt, dies bereits zum 202. mal und stellen ihre Neuentdeckungen vor.
Ein paar Fotos und ein kleiner Bericht darüber wie es geschmeckt hat reichen dafür aus.

VADIA ist sein Name.
Im Glauben daran, das Vadia ins Deutsche übersetzt irgendwas mit Eitelkeit zu tun hat, begann ich meinen Beitrag zu schreiben, hielt aber nach ein paar Zeilen inne und sah lieber nochmal nach.
But now back to my beer this week.
VADIA is its name.
Believing that Vadia translated into German has something to do with vanity, I started writing my post, but stopped after a few lines and rather looked again.

Warum muss man sein Bier läufige Hündin oder Schlampe nennen und noch fett GERMAN PILSNER darüber schreiben? Ist das Absicht? 🤣

Why do you have to call your beer a bitch in heat or a slut and write GERMAN PILSNER over it? Is that on purpose? 🤣
Was sich die Braumeister bei der Namensgebung gedacht haben, wird wohl ihr kleines Geheimnis bleiben und mir ist es am Ende schnurzegal wie das Bier heißt, Hauptsache es schmeckt.
Der Portugiese tut sich schwer mit dem Brauen von Pils Bier, das musste ich schon öfter erfahren und auch diesmal gibt es was zu meckern, wenn auch auf hohem Niveau.
Aber schauen wir uns doch erst einmal an was für eine Figur der vermeintliche Germane im Glas macht!
Etwas voreilig zwar, denn eigentlich sollte das Bier zum Abendessen getrunken werden, aber was soll´s, man kann es auch als Aperitif genießen.

The Portuguese have a hard time with the brewing of pilsner beer, I've had to experience that several times and also this time there is something to complain about, albeit at a high level.
But let's take a look at what kind of figure the alleged German makes in the glass!

Okay, hat aber nichts mit Pils zu tun, erwiderte ich.
ABER … setzte ich nach, es schmeckt einfach wunderbar dieses Luder.

Liebchens Töchterchen steht nicht auf Bier, freut sich aber auf das Wildschweinfleisch, mit frischem Spargel aus dem Garten.
Sweethearts daughter is not into beer but is looking forward to the wild boar meat, with fresh asparagus from the garden.
Ich freue mich dagegen wieder eine Empfehlung aussprechen zu dürfen.
Dieses VADIA Bier mit seinen gerade mal 4,5 Vol/Alc kommt mit einer herben Würze daher, die Lust auf mehr macht. Zwar erinnert es im Geschmack eher an ein IPA Bier als an ein Pils, aber das tut der Freude keinen Abbruch.
Prädikat: Absolut Empfehlenswert!
On the other hand, I am pleased to be able to make a recommendation again.
This VADIA beer with its just 4.5 Vol/Alc comes along with a tart spiciness that makes you want more. Although the taste is more reminiscent of an IPA beer than a Pilsner, that does not detract from the pleasure.
Predicate: Highest recommendable!
