Hello, Beer Community here on Hive! My (cyber)name is NomNomNoodle, an occasional beer drinker, who wants to overcome the beer-iers ๐ and write about something I'm not used to writing much about so I can join #BeerSaturday week!. This is actually something new I've never heard of. This one has been personally brought up to me by @ak08 in his post of Rediscovering LEO Beer: A Supermarket Adventure.
Anyway, here's my take on this challenge. I have thought about it and I said to myself, hey let's write about one of the best times I had with beer, which happened in Da Nang, Vietnam. So, Beer we go! ๐บ๐บโจ Start off with me and this huge beer. I promise there'll be more of the beers.
This place, which you've probably heard about before, is a famous destination. You guessed it right (I hope) It's Bana Hills, in Da Nang. Bana Hills is a tourist attraction filled with rides and nice buildings. I hope to get to write more about my time there in the next post.
The most important thing that I'll be specifically writing about this time is "the BEER FEST". I borrowed some pics from this website to show you what the atmosphere would be like.
There's this beer fest zone in Bana Hills, where beers, food, and shows are available for you to enjoy.
There were booths and stalls, which you could order from. I like that they had the staff wear not only Drindl, the local costume from Munich in Germany but also Nรณn lรก, the Vietnamese hat. Cute.
They set up the place with outdoor tables and umbrellas. You can chill and order beers and food there.
Honestly, I didn't remember seeing these deliciously-looking BBQs. If I did, I would definitely order them.
What I ordered to eat in real life is this traditional German "Brezel". If I remember correctly, I ate 2-3 that day. haha, I miss good Brezel.
Big compliments from me to serve both "Dunkel" and "Weiร" Beer. And for the readers, who had no idea what I'm talking about, here is some info I got for you, from craftbeer and beer and brewing.
The German-style Dunkel is a bottom-fermented lager-style beer. The word โDunkelโ is German for โdark,โ and this dark beer style offers beer lovers balanced flavors of chocolate, bread crust, and caramel.
Weiss bier is the classical wheat beer of Bavaria and one of Germanyโs greatest and most distinctive beer styles. Typically 40-60% of the grains used in these beers are wheat. Wheat adds a creamy, slightly tangy flavor to these styles. With wheat as the common denominator, these beers differ in flavor and aroma due to the addition of certain types of yeast used

Apparently, for a while I haven't had any true Weiร beer, I fell in love with this beer, since the first sip. That's the beginning of the chaos of that day.
I ended up with as many beers as I could count because I drank so much and so fast I didn't even know I was drunk. It was broad daylight too! I didn't realize it at all. The beer was THAT good, guys.
On the way back, I walked and saw a cute little girl and I wanted to take pictures with her. I asked her parents and they were really nice and allowed me to do that. But as I went for the girl, she was so scared of me being sloppy drunk and she was like ... (left gif) and I was like ... (right gif).

Not only that, but the thing is to leave Bana Hills you need to take a cable car down and I was so lucky I didn't throw up in there and got back to the hotel safely.
Be aware of how much you drink and how much you can handle. But, the people in this community would know that the best, am I right?
So, stay alert as you keep chugging those beers!
Khob khun kaa,
Nomnomnoodle ๐
