Hello dear friends of C/CERVEZA. Thanking you for the reason why this community was created, I will present you my first participation. Since it deals with the subject of beer, I take advantage of this window to tell you about an experience I had in the Avellaneda area of Buenos Aires, where I live.
Cerveza, Cata , Rock y comida. ¿Quieres mas?
Hola queridos amigos de la C/CERVEZA. Agradeciendo la razón por la cual fue creada esta comunidad, les presentaré mi primera participación. En vista de que trata sobre el tema cerveza, aprovecho esta ventana para contarles una experiencia vivida , en el Sector de Avellaneda, Buenos Aires , donde está mi residencia.
Momentos especiales
Like every afternoon, my kids and I went for our usual walk to the park, and we found a pleasant surprise. A great beer event was taking place! It was representatives from the Avellaneda Craft Brewers Club. They organize these events at certain times of the year. Coincidentally, St. Patrick's Day was approaching, a great time to celebrate this tradition and advertise their varieties of beers.
Como todas las tardes, mis hijos y yo fuimos a nuestra caminata de costumbre al parque, y nos hemos encontrado con una agradable sorpresa. Se estaba realizando ¡Un gran evento cervecero! Se trataba de representantes del Club de Cerveceros Artesanales de Avellaneda. Ellos organizan estos eventos en algunas épocas del año. Casualmente se acercaba el día de San Patricio, gran momento para festejar esa tradición y publicitar sus variedades de cervezas.

This event was promoted by "El Club Argentino de Coleccionistas de Gaseosas y Cerveza". The afternoon turned out to be wonderful and very lively. I will present you collage images, since there were so many and so diverse, it was difficult to select them. What was experienced there that afternoon meant something new to me, plus the beers I was able to taste and all I could learn about them.
Este evento fue promocionado por "El Club Argentino de Coleccionistas de Gaseosas y Cerveza". La tarde se tornó maravillosa, y muy movida. Les presentaré imágenes tipo collage, ya que por ser tantas y tan diversas, fue difícil seleccionarlas. Lo que se vivió allí esa tarde significó para mí algo novedoso, más las cervezas que pude saborear y todo cuanto pude aprender acerca de la mismas.
Degustaciones
Apart from the sale and tasting of craft beers, several stands and kiosks were set up to sell a variety of beers and typical food of the region.
There was also an exhibition of medieval culture, with a great variety of typical elements.
Aparte de la venta y degustación de cervezas artesanales, se montaron varios stands y kioscos para la venta de cerveza variada, y comida típica de la región.
Asimismo había una exposición de la Cultura medieval, con una gran variedad de elementos típicos.
Paseo y pruebas
We continued our tour while tasting various traditional foods, such as bread with bondiola, choripán, panchos, potato cones with cheddar cheese, empanadas, juices of different flavors, desserts based on dulce de leche and puddings or cakes, beer of various flavors, some bitter to my taste, and the rich Honey that contains honey and I love it. In fact, it was the one I consumed the most. In the heat and among so many people, having a beer was the best.
Continuamos el recorrido mientras degustábamos diversas comidas tradicionales, como el pan con bondiola, choripán, panchos, conos de papas con queso cheddar, las empanadas , jugos de diferentes sabores, los postres a base de dulce de leche y budines o tortas, cerveza de variados sabores, algunas amargas para mi gusto, y la rica Honey que contiene miel y me encanta. De hecho la que más consumí. Ante tanto calor y entre tantas personas, tomarse una cerveza fue lo máximo.

To make your mouths water, we were also treated to a great live rock concert by La Banda de Power Métal Épico,
"Lughnasadh la Force", originally from Avellaneda.

Exposición de antiguedades
Then we went to the exhibition hall. In the pictures you can see the advertising of both events, and a souvenir that I could take from the activity, a cap with the seal of the craft brewers of Avellaneda.
Luego nos dirigimos al salón de exposiciones. En las imágenes pueden observar La publicidad de ambos eventos, y un recuerdo que pude llevarme de la actividad, una gorra con el sello de los cerveceros artesanales de Avellaneda. .
Exposición y venta
In this other part of the event, I could see objects that date back many years and that are part of the treasures of memory so to speak. Some old glasses, bottles, miniature and normal soda bottles, plates, can openers, cutlery, tray lids, in short, just vintage objects, some for sale and others for collectors only.

En esta otra parte del evento, pude ver objetos que datan de muchos años y que forman parte de los tesoros del recuerdo por así llamarlos. Unos vasos de vieja data, botellas , gaveras tanto en miniatura, como tamaño normas de gaseosas, chapas, abrelatas , cubiertos . tapas bandejas en fin solamente objetos vintage, unos a la venta y otros para coleccionistas exclusivamente
Taller y Cata de cervezas
To close with a flourish this day so much fun and cultural at the same time, inside the large shed they were facilitating a "Beer Tasting" workshop, where all the senses are trained to interpret a drink. In the tasting of beers, five main characteristics are appreciated, in this order: aroma, appearance, taste, mouthfeel and finally the appreciation or interpretation, where I could take advantage of the opportunity to catch up on the preparation and tasting of craft beers.
Para cerrar con broche de oro este día tan divertido y cultural a la vez, en el interior del gran galpón estaban facilitando un taller de "Cata de Cervezas", donde todos los sentidos se entrenan para interpretar una bebida. En la cata de cervezas se aprecian cinco características principales, en este orden a saber; el aroma, la apariencia, el sabor, la sensación en boca y finalmente la apreciación o interpretación. donde pude aprovechar de ponerme al día en cuanto a la preparación y degustación de las cervezas artesanales.
A workshop whose facilitators explained the elaboration of craft beer, the personalization process added by each producer, in terms of malting, milling and mashing, wort filtration, boiling time, fermentation, maturation and packaging.
Un taller cuyos facilitadores, expusieron sobre la elaboración de la cerveza artesanal, el proceso de personalización que le agrega cada productor, en cuanto al malteado, molienda y maceración, la filtración del mosto, el tiempo de cocción, la fermentación, maduración y envasado.
They described some differences between a craft beer and an industrial beer, among the reasons to prefer a craft beer is the fact that almost none of them use artificial additives. To end the tasting, they taught us the steps to enjoy a craft beer. They are: Pour, observe, shake very gently, smell, take a first sip, savor and finally swallow. This, when it is going to be served in a proper glass.
Inicio y fin de la tarde
Nos describieron algunas diferencias entre una cerveza artesanal y una industrial, entre las razones para preferir una artesanal esta el hecho de que casi ninguna utiliza aditivos artificiales. Para culminar la cata, nos enseñaron los pasos para disfrutar una cerveza artesanal . Los cuales son: Servir, observar, agitar muy suavemente, oler , tomar un primer sorbo, saborearlo y finalmente tragar. Esto, cuando se va a servir en un vaso adecuado.
