How's the weather there today? Warm, cold, or something in between?
It's hot again here, 30 degrees Celsius, and it's a #beersaturday, 377th in a row. As usual, I'll take the time to do it.
Today, I have two bottles in the fridge, one Bosnian and one Croatian, one a gift, one bought, and it's time to open and empty them.
First, the one with less alcohol.
Sarajevsko Premium
Brewed by Sarajevska Pivara, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina.
Bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 4.9% ABV, IBU N/A.
It's lager-style beer, more malty than hoppy, without strong flavors.
What do the Master Brewers say?
A beer special in everything. Sarajevsko Premium has a special taste derived from fine select aromatic types of hops, that strengthen the taste of this beer. Because of that we attribute to our superb product special characteristics.

I tasted one beer from this brewery about a year ago.
The beer is golden in color. The head is quite large, creamy, and very slow to dissipate. The first sip goes down the throat smoothly. In the mouth, I taste the sweetness of the malt, still quite pronounced, the taste of bread and honey, and a very shy hop bitterness, almost non-existent.
In the aftertaste, everything slowly disappears except the faint hop bitterness.
The beer is drinkable and juicy. The sweetness is predominant, and the bitterness is just a sample, so it's not balanced; it's more like a classic lager with a strong malt character, which doesn't bother me. I could quickly drink more.
It's available in local shops, but I got it as a gift.

Crafter's Escape English IPA
Brewed by Crafter's - Agram Craft d.o.o., Leprovica, Croatia.
Bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.0% ABV, IBU N/A.
It's an English IPA style beer, a hoppy British Ale with more malt flavors and less fruitness than American IPA.
What do the Master Brewers say?
The traditional English recipe seasoned with noble European and American hops reveals new beer worlds. Light malty body enriched with citrus makes this beer suitable for any part of the day.

That was my first meeting with this Croatian brewery. I bought this and another one in the Lidl store in Novi Vinodolski.
The beer is amber in color, with substantial and creamy foam. It smells of hops and herbs. The first sip goes down the throat smoothly. The typical IPA bitterness develops in the mouth, followed by a malty sweetness and hints of caramel, peach, and herbs.
The bitterness of the hops lingers in the aftertaste for a while, but everything else disappears.
It is a very drinkable and tasty beer. It doesn't have intense fruit flavors, but it's more of an English IPA with average bitterness and more herbal flavors.
Unfortunately, it's unavailable in our local Lidl, but I don't have far to go to the first Croatian Lidl, so I will pick some up when I am there again.
