How are you? Today is #beersaturday and time for a beer! I was out all day cleaning the garden and the beer would really fit me.

Vieux Bruxelles IPA
Brewed by Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck, Emelgem, Belgium. Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 6.5% ABV. Belgian beer with character they say.
The beer is golden in color, with middle foam. Even the first sip lets you know that this is IPA, not with such a pronounced bitterness, but just right balanced with citrus aromas. Very stable and very balanced. The bitterness of IPE and citrus remains in the mouth for a long time.
Otherwise, the look of the can is unattractive, (they could hire a better designer it seems to me), but the content, I can assure you that, if you believe, of course, is great.
It can be easily compared to the best IPA beers I have drunk so far.
The next is a local beer, again IPA, I haven't tried it yet, but I'm really interested if it can compete with the previous one.

Oatmeal Kveik IPA
Brewed by Pivovarna Hopsbrew, Domžale, Slovenia. Bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 6.8% ABV. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, it matured in the bottle.
The beer is a dull yellow color, the foam is medium and persists for some time. The first sip lets me know that this is a purebred IPA with marked bitterness.
The sweetness of the malt is somewhere in the background, and in the foreground are the flavors of citrus, which, together with the bitterness of the hops, remain in the mouth for quite some time aftertaste. This is also a very good IPA but with slightly different highlights than the previous one.
I have to decide. I admit that Vieux IPA is more delicious to me, but it’s harder to get it than Hopsbrew one, which is local. It would be most ideal to have both in the fridge ... hm ... wet dreams ... :)
