I have always wanted to help my parents since last year because I have seen them toil hard for a living to support us. I realized that it's not a five-finger exercise when it comes to scraping a living because vending thrifted shoes is a seasonal business. Especially when the weather turns uncooperative. Rainy days have always been a foe to street merchants like us.
Until my papa introduced me to the VIBES Community. A Web3 musical weekly competition. I was dubious at first because I'm not inclined into posting and broadcasting myself on the media platform and got filmed while talking hahhaha. But when he rolled out to me that it's not like the typical social media zone that we know....Thus, there is a peace of mind knowing that I have nothing to worry about because these folks match strong in one thing: guiding and supporting one another.
Then, I tried publishing my entry without considering of bagging a prize. Given the 300 and plus exceptional contenders in different tongues and races is close to impossibility of garnering an award. Actually my mama @crownrich and papa @jedum are joining too.
Gospel songs are our forte. We intend to sing for the Lord since talents and everything that we have are from the Lord. Hence, we just want to give Him back all the honor and glory by sharing His goodness into our lives via a song as we used to sing in the church and even in conferences. The only difference here is the monetary reward which I believe to be a part of blessing us while we balance our life serving the Lord and covering our needs as well.
Moreover, little did I know that I had been named to be one of the top 10 finalists to be chosen for final 6th winners twice. The latter, from which I was blessed to receive the 6th placer. This is not to brag but to prove what VIBES can do to our lives.
PERSONAL SUPPORT
UPC Youth Camp is fast approaching. This coming July 3-5, 2024 at Tagbilaran Bohol, another earthshaking restorative faith, is exploding soon. With this, I need to have financial assistance for a 3-day camp. Thank God, with VIBES I have all I need answered.
Furthermore, school days are sequentially upcoming, school requirements are another burden for my parents, but this time vibes got it covered for me and my younger brother. A portion of myself too is saved as self reward.
