It's been a while, bee friends. I missed you! I am glad to be back here again after nine days of being missing. I have had a lot on my plate lately but thank God I got to manage them all.
Anyhow, for today's blog I will be sharing with you how my 24th birthday celebration went. It's always great to know that I have a place where to go every time I feel like sharing my great time in the outside world. Thank you @hiveph.
Alright, let me show you how was August 21st!
My birthday was on my day off from work, so I slept through the night. I would have slept all the way to around 10 in the morning if I wasn't woken up by a knock on the door. When I opened it, a bouquet of roses appeared in front of me, and behind those flowers is Jim.
It was around 6 in the morning. I took a bath, changed clothes, and left with Jim for Basilica Minore del Santo Niño to attend a mass. But before we entered the church, I felt my tummy making a sound, so grabbed our breakfast first at a fast food chain nearby.
After eating, we headed toward the church. Before leaving, we lit some candles and offered our prayers, and finally waved goodbye to Santo Niño.
We walked for a couple of minutes to Metro Supermarket along the street of Colon to buy a small cake but I couldn't find one of my likings. So, we decided to go to SM City Cebu to look for other options.
When we arrived, we roamed around the ground floor but all we can find are large cakes. I just wanted a small green round cake that I could take photos of at a later time but sadly we weren't able to find one.
At some point, we got tired of roaming around and felt really thirsty so we made a quick stop at Mcdonald's to buy an iced coffee.
After several minutes, we roamed around the 2nd floor to check if we can find the cake that I was looking for but we just got our feet tired once again for nothing. So, we went back to the ground floor and bought helium balloons.
After paying for the balloons we went outside and went to a KTV bar in I.T. Park.
On our way in, I saw a JCO. shop across the street. So, we went in there first to see if they sell small cakes. What i found instead are donuts with green coating. So, I bought half a dozen of it as an alternative and took them to the KTV bar.
Inside the KTV bar, I asked Jim to take several photos of me holding the balloons and the donuts. We also took photos of ourselves together, of course.
Shortly after I got hungry again so we ordered 2 servings of pork sisig with one serving of rice, along with a bucket of Red Horse beer. I took my time eating and let Jim sing alone for the entire time until he got tired. We stayed there for 3 hours and finally left at around 3 PM.
We headed on our way home to finally take a rest because Jim still has to go to work at 11 PM. I initially planned to go to Tabogon, my hometown, at around 7 PM but I got really tired so I just slept until the next morning.
It was a simple birthday celebration away from my family but I really had fun. Props to Jim for making time for me on my birthday. He almost got late from work that night because the alarm that I set for him did not wake him up.
That would be all for today's blog, my bee friends. Thank you so much for dropping by.
Love you! ❣
