Hello, I hope we are all okay. Human life can be compared to color sometimes dark and sometimes bright color. In our lives we have a companion whom we do not see in poverty, comfort, sorrow, joy and the one who created us, the Lord. Yesterday my family and I went to the city to visit Senior Sto. Nino of Cebu.
His feast is near this June 16. During the Sinulog festival, many people came from different places and especially the devotees of Senor Sto. Nino. Due to the threat of covid-19, very few people came from other places and especially when Typhoon Odette devastated us. Not as many people as before but we are still here to offer candles and pray.
After we pray to Sto. Nino we immediately went to Lapu-Lapu we will also visit the Blessed Virgin the BIRHEN SA REGLA. As we boarded the ferry boat we could see many ships on the side parked. Ooooops there was a ship that sank due to Hurricane Odette.
And when we arrived in Lapu-Lapu we could immediately see the Church. My family and I went in and prayed.
And when we come home this is the first thing I see. I was glad I asked my sister where the rice and sardines came from. They told me that the government once again provided assistance through SK (SANGUNIANG KABATAAN) they provided rice and sardines. And my sister said their office also provided rice and sardines.
That's a lot of blessings. Many were happy because all of us here received help. It is a proof that God has not really forsaken us. Whatever trials and challenges come into our lives, He is there. We can't even see but it makes us feel that He loves us. Even though we were hit by a storm before Christmas and New Year, but he wouldn't let us down, we are still alive here with the whole family. God did not give his help directly but He made many instruments just like the people who bring help to each of us. Let us stay strong in life and let us never forget to thank everyone who helped us.
"VIVA PIT SENIOR" to everyone.
That's all. Thank you God Bless everyone.
