"A supportive community a day, keeps the Hivers motivated every day."
Yesterday, the Hive PH moderators had an orientation on the Google Meet and Discord channel to guide the new and interested members through the complexity of the Hive platform. I've only been a member since July 5, and I still don't get how certain things work. As soon as I learned that there would be an orientation, I jumped at the chance to learn more about Hive. It started around 7:30 pm and ended around 10 pm. A conflict with my schedule prevented me from attending the first part of the webinar, but I still managed to sign up for the second one.
Many users from ReadCash also attended the webinar in order to get a taste of the new environment they would be entering. As a newcomer, that's a huge help in adapting easily to this environment—I would not feel lost and overwhelmed.

Despite the two-and-a-half-hour webinar, you can see how eager the community was to listen. Well, I am not surprised because the speakers are able to keep the mood friendly and not exaggerated for the newbies. Aside from that, they are also well-spoken and confident in how they explain things. I even told them that I didn't know that I could fall in love with voices, lol.
Shoutout to @tpkidkai, @wittyzell, @indayclara, and the other amazing mods of the community.
It is also not awkward to communicate with them. When we don't understand something, we can just type it out and someone will respond with our inquiries. Although there are some members that are intimidating, the humorous individuals can balance it out.
Actually, the whole webinar and interaction with them gave me a dopamine boost, or a social interaction rather, that I've been lacking these past few days. I really enjoyed participating in the conversations between members, and I never felt that I was out of place. How I wish this was also the environment of the other blogging platform—a place where you don't only think about potential earnings but also enjoy the interaction with other people.
One thing I also love about this community is how they provide various activities on the Discord channel to let the members feel comfortable with the environment. For instance, last time they had a game where they asked you to send a picture of certain items with a piece of paper with your Hive username written on it. When you do it correctly, you will gain a point. I participated in the game, but I'm not after the price. I just really enjoy having fun with them.
At the end of the day, I realized how supportive this community is. To be honest, they could just let us sign in on this website and figure it out on our own. But they decided to guide and build a support group for us; they are willing to spend their time and energy helping us become familiar with Hive. With this kind of community, Hivers will be motivated to continue doing what they love, every day.
