Earlier today during our Physical Education class, our P.E teacher told us that we are gonna vote for a sport, and that we will play the one with the most votes. It was pure chaos. Set A (morning classes) and Set B (afternoon classes) have the same P.E classes so it was so loud inside the school gymnasium. Each of us are shouting our prefered sport. Mine is Volleyball, my favorite sport since junior high school. Soccer won.
I was so mad when Soccer was chosen by the majority of my classmates, because 1. It's so tiring, 2. I get tired easily, and 3. I can't score a goal. I actually played Volleyball a while back in my old school during intramurals, so I am confident with catching and slamming a volleyball, but soccer? I'd rather stay idle in my seat than sweat profusely and faint in the middle of a soccer game.
During the first match, it was Set A boys versus Set B boys. It was a very intense match, given the fact that a few of the boys were in a soccer varsity team last year. Of course, as a Set B student myself, I joined the loud chants and shouting for our team. We shouted so much we felt out throats dry up like the Sahara, and yet we never really cared. All we cared was to cheer and jump in the metal seats to make even louder noises so our team will feel inspired and all pumped-out to take home the victory.
In the end, out team won with a 3-1. ~cue victory noises~
Next game was with the Set A girls and Set B girls. It was a fare match. All the players don't know how to play soccer so the game was a bit funny. It was fun, nonetheless. Set A girls took home the victory with a 1-0.
As for me, I never joined because I know the fact that I'll just make a complete fool out of myself. If it was Volleyball, I would have joined with all my will and take home victory myself. Maybe next P.E then.
