Last Friday Night
Since I joined the Hiveph community on Discord, my Friday evenings are no longer the same as they always were.
I look forward to game night every Friday, aside from the meaningful interactions and bardagulans on the side with the other active members.
Aside from the fact that I do enjoy winning, the way the members play the game and interact with one another serves as a reminder for me to relax, take a break from the hectic work week, and simply enjoy the moment.
Because of this, if there is an event, I make sure I click the interested button and block the date in my planner so I don't forget. As I always say, I make time for the things that matter. Time is a luxury, especially since my profession requires a lot of it.
Last Friday night was different. The event aims to uplift each other by giving them the compliments they deserve.
Something Nice About You
This is a special event initiated by none other than @adamada. Prior to the event, we were given a list of participants, and we were asked to say something positive about each person on the list, anonymously.
Before the event
When I had a glimpse of what we should do, I thought it would be an easy thing to do because I do it every day. I give compliments everyday to my students to help them feel better about themselves and to let them know that I believe in their potential.
Did I just say easy? Hell no. When I was about to write my messages and compliments, I struggled to come up with the right words to say since I barely know some of them, unlike the others, and giving away insincere compliments is not my thing. It's not a C thing~
So, I did my research. I recalled the last time I had a conversation with them. I even browsed their blogs to get to know them more. The funny thing is, I realized that we had been on the same server for almost two months and yet I haven't had the time to check them out or even have a meaningful chat with them.
I finished drafting the messages, but when I reread them, it felt like a single sentence was not enough to express how great they are. I won't settle for less, so I started writing again until I was satisfied.
So, if you want to know which of those messages is from me, just look for the longest one that begins with hey, hi, or hello.

All of them complimented my physical features so I picked the one who didn't. If @arcgspy's message had been submitted on time, I would have chosen hers because she's not part of the fan club hahaha just kidding!
