Hello
Hello, lovely hivers! It's me again @daenerhys. I want to share my experience in loving a person that was fated to be with, but not destined to be mine. Have you ever been in love? But a love that was against many, especially to his family. In the Filipino term "Langit siya, yuta rako". I couldn't imagine that a broken love that I've always seen in the movies and a scene that I've read in the novels turns into reality. It all started with "Hello" when he chatted with me through the messenger. Last 2017, I had a boyfriend named "Louie". Like every girl's ideal boyfriend, he is tall, dark, chinky, handsome and sporty type of guy. At first, I thought of him as my great love after the break up of my first love. Through the lowest part of my life, he became my shield and shoulder to lean on. Every time that I have a problem he's the one who understands me and the ears of all my rants about my problems. But, everything was just temporary. My ex-boyfriend is a son of a Nurse somewhere in Borbon, Cebu and his father is a Medtech carrying a family name of a well-known and wealthy family in their barangay. At first, my relationship with him was smooth.
No problems just free and happy, when we have each other's back. To make this story short, during the fiesta of our barangay I introduced him to my family and relatives. My family accepted him and even welcomed him to our gatherings. In return, he also introduced me as his girlfriend during their family dinner. During the dinner, I can see in his mother's eyes and hint on her voice the disapproval of our relationship. I was so nervous that I couldn't utter another word to every question of her mother. In the midst of tension I feel, my ex-boyfriend comforted me with his warm smile and told me that everything's gonna be okay.
Months passed, still the relationship we build is doing okay. But, an unexpected event happened I was harassed by the person that was dear to me(I can't mention who he was because it was still fresh to my mind even though it's already years have passed ,and believe me or not I told my parents what he's doing but they don't even believe me because they couldn't believe that "he" will do those things to me). I ran away from home and begged my ex-boyfriend if I could stay with him for a night because I was just really scared. In the morning, my mother asks a person to post it on social media if someone sees me and who I was with. My ex-boyfriend's parents saw the post and investigated my family background.
And boom! They found out that my mother was a scavenger(picking up some plastic bottles and selling them) and my father is an ex-prisoner(actually my father was proven not guilty during the trial of the court that's why he was set free from prison). They confronted my ex-boyfriend about my family background issues and his mother said that I wasn't the perfect girl that they wanted for their son because I was just a stain to their family and they can't afford that I will be the downfall of their son. His mother told me some ill words and even pointed a finger at me in public. I was crying while people were watching me.

Broken Heart Club
Still my ex-boyfriend is fighting for me against his family, until we decide to hide our relationship and he tells his parents that we've already broken up. But in the end he's parents found out that we're still together because someone reported to his mother that we're seeing secretly behind their back. His father was very furious and confiscated all my ex-boyfriend's gadgets. The following morning my ex-boyfriend's brother chatted with me, begging to break up his "Manoy"(big brother) because their father beat him because his "Manoy" will not leave me. Their mother and son relationship was not in good shape, no more talking, no more bonding and aloof to each other. And their father told his "Manoy" that he will be sent off to Bohol if they still knew that we still see each other. I felt guilty about what was happening. I beg his brother that if can lend his Manoy a cellphone to contact me.

Blessings For The Broken Heart
So, we chatted in the evening ,and we decided to cut ties between me and him. I can't afford to see him suffer even though his happy with me, but not in good terms with his parents. I'm hurting every time he tells me sadly that they're still not talking with his mother. We broke up, and I told him we were still young and we had to grow up. I told him that, he should focus on his studies, and we have to move on. If we are fated and destined for each other, destiny will bring us back. And I blocked him in my social media accounts, no replies from him. No proper closure because we're not given a chance to talk to each other in person again.
Unfortunately, he is not my destiny because after 5 months I've found the best person, and the father of my two babies. My ex-boyfriend is currently schooling in Southwestern University taking a Bachelor of Dentistry. And, I'm happy that he's doing well and achieving what he's praying for. I just shared this story of mine from my past experience, not because I never moved on from him but it was a lesson to learn that amidst happiness that we had in love and relationships we're still surrounded by people who are against every happiness we have. Not all people will accept who you really are. You don't have to change yourself to level the standards that they wanted in order to be acceptable by everyone.
