Hello everyone how's your day? Well, I hope everyone is fine and always in good health despite our weather conditions. It's me again @dehai wanted to share with you my experience and the amazing architectural design I've encountered while having our strolling or wandering around the town of Argao. In my previous blog, I mentioned that I was in this place last December 16-19,2023 during our Division Festival of Talents. Before going home, I and my co-participants decided to wander around the town proper to see how beautiful the town is. But our main reason for strolling was to search for the best seller of special Torta in town for our pasalubong. While having our strolling we captured everything peculiar and unique for us and we've seen only in that town. So here are the views that we captured and it looks amazing to our sight.
Beautiful Old Houses
While walking, we passed by houses that were already old and made of hardwood but it was preserved by the owner. I silently asked myself how many years the house is since as I looked around it seemed nobody was in. It was made of wood. I am hoping to have this lumber or hardwoods nowadays. If we still have hardwood nowadays that can withstand for so many years. These unique houses for me symbolize that our country is rich in natural resources specifically forest resources or land where these hardwoods were taken. It shows that lumber from woods is still best if we just plant trees and we will not cut it down while they are still young.
Houses and Fence Made of Stone and hardwood
Another unique piece of architecture that captured me was the houses and fences made of stone. We were surprised at how these houses were built. I'm sure these were made by the owner so that when strong rain and typhoons it can withstand. I remember when typhoon Yolanda struck our country where very strong winds destroyed or damaged our houses. If our houses were made of stone, less damaged we would have at that time. It was a very tragic calamity that happened in our country. That was the first time I'd experienced it in my 43 years of existence. I appreciate how the artists or owners of this architecture did this.
